QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 02:27 PM) This is the first time we've ever put money in to our league, and this is the worst I've ever done in my life. 1-6 now. I'm in dead last, and oh, lucky me, I just got a phone call from the local sporting goods store telling me that my trophy I put together for this league is now complete. Great, I basically have 0 chance of winning this thing and the season is only halfway over. I think it's because people try more when money's on the line.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) Traded Justin Forsett for Steve Smith... Kind of an even trade, but I'm leaning toward saying Smith is better...which is why I made the trade. Depends on what you have. Forsett is an RB2 and Smith is a WR2. RB2s are way more valuable at this point, unless your team is loaded on RBs. I have 3-4 WR2s on my team (Cobb, Sanders, White, Crabtree), but I would really like more stable RBs.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 11:07 AM) Kryie actually played pretty good defense this summer in the tournament. I think a lot of people are underselling Kryie and the strides he seems to have made to his game. His big thing is staying healthy (similar to Rose although Kryie is clearly the better guy to bet on in terms of good health). It's pretty easy to look good defensively when you're not playing against NBA talent the majority of the time though. I'm still not sold on him defensively.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 10:57 AM) Absolutely. A signature basically is a non factor for authentication, a PIN is something that can be checked real time and is true multi-factor authentication. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother to sign my name correctly. It's not like it'll be checked against anything for authenticity.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 11:04 AM) They'll be able to cover it up enough. Just interesting if they'll be basically the Houston Rockets of the east. They may be good enough even with that to get to finals. Noah looks really weak right now. I don't think they'll be that bad defensively. But I also don't think they'll be as good offensively at the start.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 11:01 AM) Know what Cutlers at? 3.3% So I guess Jay hasn't been that bad eh? My friends and I wondered how many picks Favre threw when we were watching the Broncos game Sunday. We looked up his stats and my first remark was...hey Favre's basically like Cutler (86 QB rating, Cutler's is around 85). But you have to take the era into account. Back when Favre's hayday, a 90 QB rating was pro-bowl level. Today, a 90 QB rating puts you at mediocre.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 10:59 AM) That one to me is a little excusable. It's the first drive. You're setting up the tempo of the game. 3rd and 1 the defense is expecting a run, so a bomb there (1) has a decent chance of connecting and (2) regardless of success, it's going to open the field a little more. Also this from that article: Just not good enough. He's been incredibly fumble-prone this year. He's kept the INTs down for the most part, but add the fumbles to it and it's just as bad as previous years. And I can understand going for a play like that on second and short. But third and short? I don't like it.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 21, 2014 -> 10:47 AM) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7tlJWwqvRo#t=66 He made Kyrie look foolish. There's a few things Kyrie Irving is good at, defense is not one of them. The Cavs are going to have some struggles at the start. The Big 3 in Miami had 3 solid defensive players in LeBron, Bosh, and Wade. Love and Irving have yet to prove themselves as defensive assets. In fact, they're more likely to be defensive holes than assets at this point. It'll be interesting to say the least.

Not running the ball in the first half was very confusing. Especially on that third and 1 in that first drive. The defense had a nice series to give the ball back to the offense and we just squandered that chance. Of course, the Dolphins then drive the length of the field and score.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 06:00 PM) My dislike of Melky yes, is partly because of what he did. But I also think he's a very blah baseball player. He reminds me of Milton Bradley. If he signs with the Sox I could see disliking him as much as anybody who has worn the uniform. Anybody but Melky, please. Milton Bradley killed his own baseball career because he was a total ass. Melky Cabrera basically killed his career by doing steroids, but completely redeemed himself afterwards. There's a big difference.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 02:12 PM) I think it was INTs then. Because I remember them keep bringing the stat up that he went 4 straight games without an INT. Are you talking about last year? Because Cutler threw picks in the first game this year.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 02:06 PM) See last year when Trestman and the Bears had the best QB in the league for 6 games. And you know what he didn't do in those games? Turn the ball over. I think he had 8 td's to one interception. At this point, I feel like we'd be better with a game manager than a gunslinger under Trestman's offense. All we do is throw screens and medium range passes anyhow. Cutler's rarely had to show off his arm this year.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 20, 2014 -> 02:08 PM) Who do you guys have on all your teams that have been paying dividends for you? I have Lamar Miller in all three leagues and he's been an RB1 to this point. Yesterday I was finally rewarded for holding Tre Mason on my bench in my 14 team league. That felt very nice. Randall Cobb. I have him on 3 of my 4 teams.
