QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 30, 2014 -> 09:08 AM) The thing about both the slide and the prayer.....Brandon Marshall pretty much does both every time he scores. Yup. That's why if they fine him, it would look really really bad.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 30, 2014 -> 08:54 AM) I have to say that I'm confused by Yahoo projected 23 points for McCoy next week. 2+3 is more like it. I went 3-1 this week. I'm 3-1 or better in my all of my Yahoo leagues, but I'm 1-3 in my ESPN league (the one I'm actually paying for). I've been plagued by Eddie Lacy and I finally had a good game this week, only to have my opponent score the most points in the league. I scored the second most and still lost. Fantasy football is so cruel.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 30, 2014 -> 07:51 AM) He's fine. He cramped up, got a quick IV and came back for a few plays. Reid said he pulled him because of the scoreline. Yeah, Abdullah is a devout Muslim and he went to his knees to pray. They are saying he was flagged for the "slide" into the pray, but I bet that's not why the official threw the flag. I'm sure it was a mistake in hindsight, but this could get very interesting if the NFL does fine him. They better not. In what's already been a very bad month for the NFL, this would bring even more controversy.

Now I hate him even more. The other guy has Gronk and he gets a TD. Ugh.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 10:00 PM) Nah, unsportsmanlike because the returner went to his knees after he scored, he didn't even really celebrate. No fun league. "Excessive" celebration.

WTF Belichick? Ridley hasn't played more than 3 snaps in the second half. Screw you.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 09:58 PM) Dropping Knile Davis = dumb. Either roll with him if/when Charles goes down (if you have JC) or trade him for twice his value to Charles' owner. I see why that was dumb now. Maybe I can pick him back up again. I don't have a lot of room on my team though. I have Taliaferro ad Ridley as my backups.

Travis Kelce is pretty beastly. I don't think I've seen a TE that gets more YAC than him. I'm probably going to lose by 4 because I started Cooks over V-Jax. Ugh.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 09:27 PM) Age hath caught him. My wife is going to murder me. She came into tonight up 9 points and for some reason her opponent started KC's defense (projected for 4 points) and they have 14. She had two options to have a big score from her Tight End, but I told her twice that she should hold off if Vernon Davis plays. One was Larry Donnell, who put up like 30 points and the other was Heath Miller who put up 14 points. She is now down 129 to 136. All she had to do was not listen to me. :-( She has 3 TEs?

Knile Davis looks so much better than Charles right now. Charles is averaging 5.5 yards per rush, but Davis looks straight up explosive.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 06:21 PM) This game and to be frank the last game of the regular season last year were the two best games Jay has played vs. Packers. Jay played a great game in the first half, probably his second best half of the year. There were very few bad decisions and we more or less scored at will. There was one game back in 2008 or 2009 when we actually beat the Packers on MNF. Cutler didn't play great, but was good enough to get us the win. And man, does the Patriots offense suck right now or what?

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 03:03 PM) How is it? I bought a PS4 a couple weeks ago and was planning on picking it up for it once it came out Visuals are better than last year's game - I love the new lighting. Gameplay-wise, a lot of it is the same, but the animations are better this year and for the most part, keepers are better. A lot of people are complaining that defending is too hard and that only pace matters in this year's game...I haven't found that to be completely true since I still have trouble blowing by slow CBs with players who have pace in the mid 80s on professional. It builds on top of last year's game and I thought last year's game was a lot of fun, so I think it's worth the $60.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 01:04 PM) Yeha. Even when I looked back at the first pick, I will tip the cap to Packers DB who did a nice job on Morgan, although 100 times out of 100 Jay needs to not make that throw, although I know you usually throw the slant off a presnap read and they liked what they saw (and typically with a slant you have little time to adjust, it is a pretty immediate throw I believe based upon how the defense is playing). The other pick though, total bummer, cause if he does run the right route, you are looking at another potential big play. Still, wouldn't have mattered with way D played. Fact that we ran the ball is huge and should open up some things going forward. We still make a lot of little mistakes that we can't overcome, especially given our defense and special teams. Against above average offenses, our offense is going to have to be perfect which is pretty difficult. I still think Jay had 3 TD passes in 1st half and to be frank should have had a 4th. Should have thrown the ball a little lower to Alshon and often times Alshon still comes down with the throw he did make. Either way, that was one you really would like back, same for that series where we shotgunned it on the 1 yard line on 1st down and had the penalty (might be same series). That was brutal in general I would put a lot of the blame on Jay for that first pick. You know the corner is probably going to jump that route (especially GB's corners, they're all ball-hawks) if he's that close to your receiver on the slant. And this wasn't Alshon or Marshall he's throwing to, it's freaking Josh Morgan, so his margin for error is much smaller.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 01:11 PM) I don't know why the NFL doesn't have two cameras from an elevated position (10' or so) looking down the goal line for replays. HD cameras are not that expensive. Or that goal line technology FIFA was using in the world cup, not sure how well that worked. When soccer has better technology than you do, you need to step your game up.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 01:09 PM) I really do think he broke it but somehow we had no good camera angle to confirm that. The issue was that he was still bobbling the ball while he tried to reach over the plane, so he never truly established possession. Even if we did have a better angle at it, I don't think we would have gotten that call overturned due to the bobble. You have to give Clinton-Dix a ton of credit on that tackle. It's not easy to hold back a 6'6 tight end from reaching a yard farther.
