  1. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 8, 2014 -> 08:20 AM) Awful new video of what Ray Rice actually did in the elevator leaked today. Disclaimer: It's brutal. He needs to be suspended for a lot longer after witnessing this http://m.tmz.com/videos/0-ekaflcqq/ Talk about getting knocked out...Jesus. Yeah, he should be suspended for a longer period than 2 games, at least that times 4.

QUOTE (TRU @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 09:45 AM) Fullback? Do you have it set on 1990's mode? Get with the times man. I run out of the I-form a lot. Good play action, plus you get a blocker up the middle on runs. It's great for grinding out the clock in MUT.
  3. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 10:12 PM) I dont think people are shocked to see him have a big game in week 1. However last season after week 11 he didnt have a single game with either over 100 yards or multiple tds. In the fantasy championship week he had 70 yards and 0 tds. I had him last year in a league and needed 5 points from him on MNF vs the Saints in week 13 to win and he ended with 4 points. He was fine in the playoffs (actual playoffs), averaged around 5 YPC and had 2 100 yard games with 4 TDs. I think that more or less proved to me that he's not running out of gas yet.
  4. Even with a pretty bad showing by GB's offense, Cobb and Nelson both have around 10 points so far. Can't complain.
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 09:57 PM) I love me some Skittles. And some people thought he'd break down this year... Still possible, but he's got a great o-line blocking for him and he's pretty damn awesome.
  6. QUOTE (TRU @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 09:25 PM) I already feel sick to my stomach watching Harvin get all these touches. I dropped him down my rankings because of the injury concerns but damn, the guy is going to beast if he stays healthy. PPR monster with big play ability. That's scary.
  7. Seattle's defense is still pretty good...lol.
  8. Lynch is running all over this defense.

QUOTE (TRU @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 09:40 AM) Thats because Madden 25 wasnt that great. Madden 15 is awesome though, you should try that. Except for those times your own blockers get in your way. I had a screen play yesterday result in a fumble because Tony Fiametta thought it'd be a good idea to run into Jay Cutler while he was throwing the screen. It's like the AI thinks they can use your own players to play defense. Not to mention the numerous times where the FB would block a hole I was going to run through up the middle, resulting in at least 4-5 less yards. Other than that, good game so far.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 10:27 PM) IGN said it was great, but I thought otherwise. Oh well, I still trust it to rebound. I thought it was alright, had some decent laughs.
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 04:18 PM) Maclin or Roddy White? Maclin's got a real easy game against Jacksonville, but they could go up by quite a bit and stop throwing.
  12. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) Wonder who the two Russell Martin votes are Probably me and you. Third one is wite.
  13. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 02:25 PM) Also, the skillset is one that should age well. Elite defender with improving plate discipline? I'll take it. Even if his bat declines to Flowers levels, he'll be a plus gamecaller until he retires. Him in the 2 spot would be pretty awesome. You can then have two guys who get on at around 36-37% of the time in front of Abreu.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 01:48 PM) I have a feeling Indy may feed Reggie Wayne as a welcome back present and I should have him at flex over MJD. MJD against the Jets is a bad play anyhow.
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 01:09 PM) It's become my biggest sports pet peeve. I don't get how Jeffery is so damn hard to say/write. It's not a common last name. Jefferies is a lot more common.
  16. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 01:07 PM) Wright in a ppr could be a monster. So we did a live draft for one of my leagues on Monday and you had to write your picks on the draft board and the person who took Alshon wrote "Jeffries." I wanted to kick said person in the face. In PPR, Wright > Floyd since Wright caught almost 100 balls last year. Floyd has big play ability though and the higher ceiling.
  17. At least he didn't say it a million times on national TV.
  18. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 12:45 PM) Nah, just try to win the bidding for Russell Martin. Anything south of 4/60. I wouldn't give Martin more than $40 million and I think the market will probably agree. I think something around 3 years for $36 million is the most he'll get. I also feel like that's worth it considering he's been a 4-5 WAR player the past two years despite a mediocre 2013 with the bat.
  19. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 10:21 AM) Note 4 looks like a decent iteration on their Note series of devices...but WTF with that Note Edge? Are they honestly searching out gimmicks for the sake of nothing at this point? As for the VR thing...cool looking but seems like the next 3D. Samsung likes throwing stuff against the wall and see what sticks. I guess the Edge is their way of showing off their curved display technology.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 11:28 AM) Got excited to play Madden 25 again last night. Spent 20 minutes updating the rosters to this year and getting my franchise set up. Played approximately 1.5 quarters of a game before broke ass Madden came back and I turned it off. Near the start of the game I had an awesome, wide open screen play with Forte. One defender within 25 yards, Forte behind 2 lineman......neither lineman blocked the defender, 4 yard loss. This happened twice. On defense, I had several opportunities to sack the QB, but the player - my human controlled player - inexplicably bumped into the QB but refused to tackle him with his arms, despite my frantic button pushing. QB got away. On several other plays, the computer RB would break 8 tackles in a 5 yard area by the line of scrimmage. When i'm the RB, one guy with a finger can bring me down. I quickly turned that s*** off. Madden f***ing blows. Every game I have gotten in the last 10 years has blown. I don't know why every 2 years I get excited about it when I know i'm ultimately going to get upset and quit playing. That's probably why you didn't tackle him.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 11:05 AM) Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 1h Tyler Flowers has 2 bWAR and 1.4 fWAR despite a less than league average showing on offense. Enough to convince you? http://bit.ly/1qoqppi Honestly, it's because he's a catcher. He gets +12.5 runs from being a catcher alone over 600 PA. Unless you've got a .270 wOBA, you're going to get about 1 fWAR if you're a catcher getting 450 PAs. Tyler's at a .303 wOBA this year, which I'm surprisingly fine with.
  22. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 10:34 AM) Derek Carr? Kendall Wright should be your wr2 and it looks better. I feel like Floyd might be better. Either way, Wright >>> Cooper.
  23. QUOTE (Dunt @ Aug 30, 2014 -> 12:04 PM) I would love to see Luke Gregerson and Andrew Miller brought in It seems like Gregerson's given up his fair share of big go-ahead homers this year. He's actually got a negative WPA (sandwiched between Nathan and Romo for 40th worst) this year with a -1.21 clutch rating (12th worst). His numbers don't look awful, but he hasn't exactly pitched well in big moments this year.
  24. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 3, 2014 -> 10:13 AM) Is Ahmad Bradshaw worth stowing away? What are his chances versus Richardson's? Richardson was awful in pre-season. If Bradshaw is healthy, he should get some touches. I think there's a decent chance he starts sometime in the middle of the year. I'm not a fan of Richardson's.
  25. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 10:07 AM) They're pretty much all struggling with flash for me lately, Chrome is the worst of those. I'll have Firefox around for flash things that are dying in Chrome. It's the opposite for me. FF crashes all the time when there's anything flash based on my work computer. Haven't had any issues with Chrome.
