  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 15, 2012 -> 10:55 AM) So it seems like external sd cards are having trouble in SGIII phones. Ive tried to 32gb class 10 and neither have worked. Ill update if I figure out the issue. Make sure they're not formatted as NTFS.
  2. Texans made a bunch of mistakes early in the game in key situations (offsides on 4th down, for instance) and now it's just way too late.
  3. RG3 is single-handedly kicking my ass. I'm down 33. I have QB, DEF, and flex left. My flex is Meachem, defense is Houston. QB is either Schuab or Rivers. The other guy has Andre Johnson left. So should I start Schuab or Rivers?
  4. God damn it Swisher. Ichiro should be in right.

QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 11:37 PM) Didn't enjoy it? I'm finally getting out to the movies tomorrow and I was thinking of seeing it after seeing all the positive reviews. You'll have to see the movie to get it.
  6. Why can't they have the virtual strike zone for every game? I hate it when they have to go replay for a strike zone overlay. This is so much easier.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 11:25 PM) Albuquerque has better stuff, but I agree Dotel is safer. Benoit seems to have lost it. Benoit's way too prone to home runs. You just can't have that as a closer.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 11:15 PM) There is absolutely no way he comes out next save opp. Although Benoit & Dotel can't be giving much confidence to Tigers fans. Maybe Albequerque(sp)? Albuquerque's a little too wild. I think Dotel is the best bet.
  9. Yankees have wasted opportunities all game.
  10. Damn, right size wrong shape for Martin.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 10:57 PM) You know that Granderson's last (and maybe his only) walk off homer was the last week of 2005 vs the Sox? I remember that one. He also walked off the Sox in 09 during that big 4 game series after Buehrle's perfect game.
  12. It'd be awesome if Granderson walks off his old team.
  13. How long until they start using somebody else as closer? Valverde's given up 7 runs in his last 1.1 innings.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 10:20 PM) Scott Boras is a f***ing genius. As much as us fans hate him, if I were a player I would want him as my agent. Strasburg probably doesn't.
  15. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) I'd be okay with paying him about $8M a year That's about market value for him at this point. He's a 2-3 WAR player.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 10:49 PM) If you turn on ESPN right now, there's a story coming up that says "Tigers take Game 1" Which is surprising, considering they love the Yankees to no end.

    Argo f*** yourself.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 10:47 PM) That video makes up for the entire sadness of September right there, especially if it costs DET the series. How about Cabrera pouting in the dugout? Calm down, be a good leader, get your team going to get the lead back. Cabrera is an awful "leader". Dotel got all pissed at him the other day because he wouldn't talk to reporters after Valverde blew that game in Oakland. When a journeyman relief pitcher is questioning your leadership abilities, you suck at being a leader.
  19. How clutch is Raul Ibanez? Holy crap.
  20. Go f*** yourself Valverde!
  21. Oh god...no. Maybe if the Yankees pick up $20 million every year.
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 12, 2012 -> 11:28 PM) Game 1, Sunday at 7pm Guessing Carpenter vs Bumgarner. MLB.com says it'll be Lance Lynn vs. Bumgarner. Huh?
  23. f*** Detroit! Let's go Yanks!
  24. QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ Oct 13, 2012 -> 12:37 PM) Let me preface this by saying I'm no statistics expert, but I thought it was interesting looking through the total team batting statistics for 2012. What stuck out to me (and maybe I'm captain obvious) but except for HR's, the White Sox offense was very average. Avg: .255 vs league average of .255 also OBP: .318 vs league average of .319 SLG: .422 vs league average of .405 OPS: .740 vs league average of .724 OPS+ 97 vs league average of 97 Pitching looks average as well, but probably slightly above average. ERA+ WHIP H/9 HR/9 BB/9 SO/9 SO/BB League: 101 1.309 8.7 1.0 3.1 7.6 2.48 Sox: 108 1.292 8.5 1.2 3.1 7.8 2.48 Is this too crude of a way of looking at things? Baseball Reference Statistics What I see is that the Sox had above average pitching and above an above average offense... Which led to an above average win total of 85.
