The minutes are catching up with Luol. He's played like crap the last two games.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 9, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Im confident Noah will turn it around eventually this season. The Pistons have no answer for Boozer, hes dominating. He's getting guarded by Jerebko and Jason Maxiell. He should be getting open and hitting shots.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 9, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) Boozer's rainbow shot is beautiful when on. And it means no more "Boozer clogging the lane for Noah!" s***. WTF Joakim. Noah's pretty much useless right now.

Asik looks aggressive on offense tonight. Not working too well so far, but good to see.

Should the Sox consider Dunn for Soriano?
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 9, 2012 -> 05:28 PM) Rios would have to overachieve big time to have more than an average season by good centerfielder standards. And we know he isn't going to overachieve, not in his current $$$comfort$$$ zone. So all we can hope for is .260 at best with about 15 home runs max and about 70 ribbies max. If we could somehow dump the guy, I'd take DeAza out there anyday. He'd put up similar numbers (at worst) for 1/75th the pay. Not that I care about lining Jerry's pockets with more money. Did he raise parking again? No he doesn't. If he hits .260 with 15 HR, he's most likely gonna have a .700+ OPS, which is actually about average for CFers. I also don't think that's an "at best" estimate. You're talking about a guy who has a career line of .270/.320/.430. Not .230/.280/.350.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 07:54 PM) Well I will give Tebow credit, he made enough plays to win instead of needing random miracles and mistakes from the other team. The Steelers looked really unprepared for this game. They made a lot of bad mistakes in the first half. Like when their backup center snapped the ball over Roethlisberger's head that cost them a FG at the end of the half.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 07:20 PM) Like I said at the start of the game, I didn't feel right rooting for therapists. I have zero issues rooting for the #1 seed to stomp the bejeezus out of this team. Roethlisberger's lack of mobility killed them. He had no chance against the pass rush on that last drive. Had they gotten maybe 5-7 more yards (from the 45), Suisham could have had a 55 yard field goal. With how Mile High plays, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard of a FG to make.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 01:51 PM) Let's not get carried away with saying he's top 5. In no order Brees,Brady,Rivers,Eli,Romo,Rodgers,Ryan,Schaub,Big Ben. That is 9 right there and that doesnt include if Peyton comes back. Cutler's better than Rivers. That was pretty evident when the two teams played. If you give any QB the Bears' situation this year, very few would have played as well as Cutler did (Brees, Brady, Rodgers, and maybe Roethlisberger), let alone get the team to 7-3.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 10:10 PM) True. But Stafford certainly didn't disappoint either. He had one of the greatest season's ever for a QB that's not even 24 yet. I'd attribute some of that to Calvin Johnson. Sometimes Stafford just lobs passes up in the air for Johnson to adjust to. That being said, he's made major strides. I could be alone on this, but I'd rather take Cutler than Stafford right now (as in, as of this moment, not taking age and contract into account). Give Cutler Stafford's offensive line and Calvin Johnson and he puts up better numbers.

The Hawks are the streakiest team in the NBA. I still think the Bulls win this one. They were only down 2 at the 3 min mark and then the Hawks got hot again. They're going to get tired soon enough.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 06:32 PM) Did the whole f***ing Hawks team snort lines of coke before the game? I expected them to be dead tired after playing two OT games. WTF? This has to be the most unpredictable team in the league.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 10:23 AM) If he was on a team that didn't have one "Kevin Durant", no one would care about him taking over. The problem with Westbrook is that he's so damn erratic. I sure as hell wouldn't want him as a #1 option.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 08:41 AM) If he had Rondo's brain, that team would be even more deadly. He'll flash his superior athleticism, good vision, etc. but his overall decision making with the ball/basketball I.Q. is below average for a guy with his tools. Raymond Felton had harsher words a couple days ago.. They probably should have traded Westbrook for Rondo + a role player. Rondo's nowhere near as athletic, but he at least knows how to distribute the ball and play great defense. Westbrook had a lot to do with the Mavericks beating OKC last year. There were a decent amount of games where he was flat out bad and decided he wanted to take over instead of feeding Durant.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 11:53 PM) Then I'll be wrong. I really don't care. The Knicks have been disappointing so far and the Bulls haven't missed a beat from last year (regular season, at least). That's what Steve probably wanted to hear.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 11:48 PM) For the 15th time, I said they had a case. I never said Knicks > Bulls or Bulls > Knicks. And can we at least wait until, I don't know, 20 games before we start the "I told you so's?" As for the Thunder, they're more talented than any team in the league outside of Miami. I didn't say they were better than the Bulls. Q said the Bulls and Heat are easily the two best teams in the league. Conference? For now, yes. League? No. Well, saying the Knicks were on the same level as the Bulls was definitely wrong.

Boozer took some really long shots that he shouldn't have. His shot around the FT line was dead-on, but he was shooting 19-20 footers. You can tell Derrick wasn't playing as aggressively. He did have a couple of nice drives, but he went to the floater a lot more than he has in previous games.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 6, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) I usually like King. But he's been abysmal tonight. First he said Rose has been playing as well as any other player in the game. That's way false. Then he said Bulls fans need to get up and send some votes Luol's way for the all-star game. Those are useless votes. LeBron's getting voted in no matter what. Deng has an okay chance at being a reserve. He's better than Pierce, Johnson, and Granger, so he should make it.
