  1. Already voted for Dunn, PK, and A.J. 25 times. I plan to do it more in the future. Get those fake email addresses ready!
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 26, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) White Sox offensive ranks now... 7th in Runs Scored 6th in Homers 5th in SLG 6th in OPS I sure as hell did not see this coming.
  3. Sox are now 9th in runs per game in MLB. 6th in the AL.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 27, 2012 -> 10:34 AM) Things have to be kept in perspective. I love the hot streak as much as anyone but its been against the Cubs and Twins, 2 of the worst teams in baseball, and Cleveland playing without Hafner, Cabrera and Santana. Obviously, these are games that should be won, and have been won, something that couldn't have been said much the past few seasons. Lots can change in a week. If the Sox are still playing well, I think the bandwagon is going to start filling up. If they can go down to Tampa and take 2 of 3, then you bet the bandwagon will start lining up. Then we get Seattle at home after that, so if they can go 5-1 or 4-2 this next week, they'd be in really good shape.
  5. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 27, 2012 -> 10:11 AM) DE AZA BECKHAM DUNN KONERKO RIOS VICIEDO RAMIREZ FLOWERS HUDSON FLOYD TAKE NO PRISONERS LINEUP. I like it!
  6. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ May 26, 2012 -> 10:28 PM) Walk off HBP are awesome. Rafael Dolis totally sucks. In fact, that entire bullpen sucks.
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 26, 2012 -> 10:15 PM) Please spare me the criticism. Rios was so bad last year it's laughable. During his Sox career he's been stealing money. I give him props for this year and hope it continues. Nice game today, Mr. Rios. He really only stole money last year. He was pretty productive in 2010.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2012 -> 06:26 PM) So you don't break your fingers I prefer to just think and react faster...haha.
  9. QUOTE (oldsox @ May 26, 2012 -> 08:01 PM) We face Ubaldo Sunday. If he is wild, we can score a bunch. And we won't even have to hit...just wait for him to walk you.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) There are some places that do, but in Chicago it is a sin. I don't understand how a glove is even all that useful when playing 16 inch.
  11. It was good to see Rios show some emotion today. After he got robbed by Choo and Brantley, he was visibly pissed off. He even shook some rafters in the dugout lol. At least we know he cares...(that's for Greg).
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 26, 2012 -> 06:00 PM) Heath Bell knocked out in another save opportunity but Choate survives to get the win over the Giants, 5-3. $27 million well spent! I bet the Marlins can't wait for Leo Nunez (or Oviedo) to come back.
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ May 26, 2012 -> 05:56 PM) This team is getting fun to watch. I honestly can't remember a run like the past week or so in my time as a fan. Some winning streaks and things like that, yes, but this is some prodigious offense. I don't think I've seen Rios hit this well...ever. Rios, Konerko, and Viciedo are absolutely on fire right now. We need to come out and sweep tomorrow.
  14. QUOTE (Jake @ May 26, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) De Aza CF Beckham 2B Dunn DH Konerko 1B Rios RF Pierzynski C Viciedo LF Ramirez SS Hudson 3B. Peavy vs RF Choo CF Brantley 2b Jason Kipnis DH Lopez 1B Kotchman LF Damon 3B Hannahan SS Diaz C Marson Jose Lopez hitting 4th...wow.
  15. UZR

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ May 26, 2012 -> 12:02 AM) Defensive metrics are stupid. If you tell me Ramirez and Rios are bad defenders. I'm probably going to laugh at you while I watch you wipe my snot off of your chest. UZR has rated Ramirez as the best SS in baseball over the past three years. Rios was one of the best right fielders in baseball, according to UZR, when he was with the Blue Jays. Sample size determines the usefulness of UZR.
  16. QUOTE (Cali @ May 25, 2012 -> 10:18 PM) Beat them and 2 of their only few actual good players go down with injuries. Offense kicking it into gear the last week or so, if the pitching can stay steady they'll be in good shape. I know Cabrera got hurt, who else got hurt today?
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 25, 2012 -> 09:43 PM) I wonder if he knows the Yankee announcer does that horrible A-bomb for A-Rod call. Somebody better tweet or email the Hawk and tell him. That's when he says it. "An A-Bomb...for A-Rod!".
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 25, 2012 -> 09:39 PM) Bad play by the cf Yeah, I know. I was marveling that he actually made third.
  19. A.J. with a triple? Woah!
  20. That was easy...
  21. Brace yourselves, Hector Santiago is in.
  22. Alejandro Alejandro.
  23. Hell yeah Alexei!
  24. I dropped Alexei in my fantasy league today. I hope he finally starts hitting again.
