I wish we could have gotten Beltre to agree to a one year deal like this. This team would have been complete.

He's trying to put up a great year in Boston where he will be hitting in a good park with good protection and get a big deal next off-season. Plus, with all the attention he will be getting in Boston, why not sign there short term instead of somewhere like Oakland or Minnesota?

Caron Butler might actually give this team a chance to win a playoff round. I like it a lot.

Watching the Bulls trying to close out games really sucks. It looks like they don't know what to do. Sometimes, they'll try to take the clock down while other times, they act like they're the ones down and chuck up bad shots.

Meh. They might have overpaid a little on the years. But at this point, they were looking to spend less money this year, so I guess it makes sense they gave him security over salary.
