I'll play devils advocate, the other two parts of that trade are significant contributors to the M's this year. Morse is hitting .325 in 45 games and Jeremy Reed has played in 91 games. I agree with you though in that our feelings are going to be different now, tomorrow, and next season.

I agree with you that I'd like to see us make a hard push to win this year, but at the same time, our core of guys aren't so old that we have to win now or not win at all, and I don't feel like there are enough quality possible acquisitions to make a really over the top trade.

I thought all of them basically sounded the same. IT really doesn't point out mamy major differences from one GM to the next.

Not bad, but also a fairly small sample size to try to base a judgement on.
