I like Sosa better because I believe in the swing changes that have created power. Rodriguez could end up the better player for sure but he's more volatile due to the approach at the plate. I think both are big leaguers though.

I just don’t believe in ranking definite relievers that high Colas write up was surprising based on what we saw. People still haven’t adjusted to Sosa’s swing changes either. Ryan Burrowes is a name to watch.

I’d be stunned if this occurred. Hendriks might be their best trade asset. They could get a really good prospect haul. They aren’t trading Liam Hendriks for James Fucking McCann. What are we doing? I believe in trading relievers at their peak and if the White Sox choose to do that, I just don’t see the Mets as the destination. 2/29 isn’t a hindrance. It’s a bargain for one of the best relievers in baseball.

The price for Machado was $300 million and the Sox didn’t get there. It did seem to change their approach the following off-season though. They landed Grandal and nearly landed Wheeler. That was a big strategical shift

I just don’t think they need catching. Yaz is on the roster. Him bouncing back has a higher probability than anyone they can realistically acquire imo. And backup types like McCann or Barnhart aren’t clearly better than Zavala

I’m just not sure how they get another starter with a major league deal on the roster. The 13/13 rule is tough.
