His curve had a future grade of like 70 a year or two ago. He’s flashed that pitch occasionally and I’m not sure I’d give it up this early into his career.

Engel has a wRC+ of like 55 now. And yet they continue to trot him out there quite a bit. I really don’t get it.

Anderson hadn’t taken a BB in his last 20 games and only one in his last 29. I’m not sure what our hitting coach is actually doing with these guys.

Hope scouts are seeing Leury is capable of being a dangerous bench guy in the playoffs and a decent fill-in in the event of injury.

I mean, Trout, Upton, & Ohtani are pretty good hitters. The fact is he’s improving and that’s all that matters.

The Anderson boo birds will certainly be out & about tomorrow in full flock if we end up losing by one.

Three more walks and another wild pitch in the fourth. Not sure why he’s still out there, although somehow he escaped all that without giving up a run.

That’s how I view it, seems like he’s actually getting a good amount of swing & misses. As long as the stuff is there, I have faith the command will come back with time.

Like you said, probably his best first inning all year. Good velocity and command.

Hansen has literally gone B, K, B, K, B so far in the 3rd. Looks like he’s due for a K if know my pattern recognitions.

Hansen basically striking out and walking everyone. I would call that improvement from where he was though.

I was hoping White Sox Dave could have some comments, but unfortunately he’s at the Cubs game and probably plastered. Also, not a good choice by Yolmer there.

I’ve said it before, but I think we get a FV 45 prospect for Soria. That’s a guy in the 150 to 300 overall range or back-half of an average org’s top 10 prospects. And IMO, Collins & Rutherford are both clear 50 FV prospects. I wouldn’t expect a prospect of their caliber for Soria.
