  1. I don’t ever recall a Sox team where a two run deficit felt insurmountable with 12 outs to go. Glad Hahn’s plan to fix this was just roll with the same shit and expect a different result.
  2. Happened with the Bulls. I agree it’s unlikely, but there is no internal candidate to replace KW / Hahn.
  3. Jerry needs to give someone like Chernoff a President of Baseball title and let him clean house.
  4. The worst part is Hahn has done nothing to shake things up. I get Tony is untouchable, but then go acquire a player, release someone, or call up a kid from AAA. Hahn doing nothing is the definition of insanity.
  5. For the record, Kath is #21 on their list: 21: Kath, 3B 22: Dalquist, RHP 23: Hernandez, OF 24: Freeman, RHP 25: Stiever, RHP 26: McDougal, RHP 27: Mieses, OF 28: Sprinkle, SS 29: Chapelli, OF 30: Hackenberg, C
  6. I’ll keep saying it, but we’re going to have three top 100 prospects this off-season between Colson, Colas, & Ramos.
  7. You missed this important following tweet:
  8. Good thing we decided to heat up on all the shitty teams the 19 game stretch
  9. White Sox: 6 H, 0 XBH, 0 HR, 0 R Royals: 1 H, 1 XBH, 1 HR, 1 R Amazing how that works!
  10. Actually, I just looked at Naquin’s stats so far with the Mets and I really want Rick Hahn gone. Three bombs and 0.7 fWAR in 10 games!?! For reference, Vaughn is at 0.8 fWAR in 88 games despite a 131 wRC+. And no, I’m not suggesting Naquin would have been the perfect addition, but he was a legit upgrade that would have cost us basically nothing. Alas, Hahn had to pretend he had a shot at Ohtani.
  11. Gallo already fixed! (mostly kidding but still mad we didn’t add a LH hitting RF)
  12. Don’t want this limited to the game-thread. At this point, fire Tony & Frank and let Cueto have both jobs in addition being one of our better starters.
  13. Exactly. Any other organization would try something, but unfortunately was to keep trying the same thing and hope for a different result.
  14. I am a Bears fan, but enjoy watching any NFL game whereas have little interest in watching baseball games I don’t have a vested interest in.
  15. No doubt, but here we are sitting on 1.5 games back of the division lead with half the team underperforming. Even with a flawed roster (thanks Rick!) we should be winning this shit division. Unfortunately a mix of La Russa, Menechino, and poor player leadership is doing us dirty right now.
  16. I think Grandal is the only guy who appears to have totally lost his ability. I’m not sure what’s going on with Giolito, but maybe he’s not going to return to form this year. But I think a different manager & hitting coach get a lot more out of these guys and in this shitty division a few more games would have us in 1st place.
  17. You’re probably right. Just sucks because there is enough talent to win this shitty division, but just feels like the light switch is never going to turn on for us.
  18. I love the Sox…not baseball. This team makes it hard to want to watch them, but I’ll never switch over to the Cubs or another team. I’ll just find other things to do with my team until football season starts.
  19. What’s amazing is the Twins are just begging us to steal this division, but these guys just don’t want it. I have never seen a Sox team with such little drive.
  20. Jerry Reinsdorf should be embarrassed by the shit-show of an organization he has created. Fuck that dude and all the cronies that work for him.
  21. Lenyn better keep hitting bombs or Sleepy Tony is going to send his ass right back to the bench.
  22. If Tony is able to figure out reverse splits, then how come he plays Leury all the time against RHP? Mysteries that will forever go unsolved.
