  1. They do and it’s fucking garbage. Pretty sure they come with mustard on them, which is not the way a slider was intended to be eaten.
  2. @raBBit - What are you hearing on this rumored Tepera deal? Seems like you may have some idea on what the cost might look like. Totally get it if you’re unable to share.
  3. Lol...still have no idea why that guy called me out, but I do prefer hot chicken connoisseur over chicken man.
  4. Unfortunately I will be in Nashville refreshing constantly while working ? Desperately need a trade tonight to avoid total torture tomorrow.
  5. 100% agree with that
  6. This is a good move for the Marlins, but Giolito’s turnaround was mostly unprecedented. Luzardo could very well take a major step forward next year, but far from a guarantee.
  7. Cease up 0.7 fWAR in less than half a season, Luzard has been worth -0.3 fWAR this year. It’s not even remotely similar.
  8. The A’s really need to move away from Oakland
  9. Marlins are apparently sending a lot of money along with him
  10. Could be, but I’m expecting the Astros to make a couple more big moves.
  11. No idea how to value Luzardo at the moment. Dude was a 60 FV prospect and still has plus velocity for a lefty, but has also been garbage this year. Still four years of control with the upside he possesses is probably a smart gamble.
  12. So to keep score of the AL teams at the moment: HOU: Kendall Graveman OAK: Starling Marte BOS: TBR: Nelson Cruz CHI: Only three moves so far, but all of them fairly impactful and plenty time for these guys to do much more. The idea we don’t need another bat is nonsensical IMO.
  13. All great points. But you’re right, none of these guys had huge prospect pedigrees when they were signed. Mieses got a $428k but that was less than half of what Josue Guerrero got in that same class. Mendoza got $300k back in 2015. Ramos got $300k while we were in the penalty box for Robert. Rodriguez was a late signing for $50k while in the penalty box as well. Not a single high profile signing amongst the lot. Feels like those guys will need to prove themself at High A before they start developing any serious prospect value. The same applies to Krogman who got a $190k bonus which was 8th round money. Chase is hitting for power and walking like crazy, but also striking out at a 43% clip in low A. He’s got to reign that shit in to build up his stock, but the tools are exciting and it’s possible it just clicks at some point. Again, High A will likely be a big test for him.
  14. Crowded for who though? I get prioritizing 2B and the bullpen, but having a bunch of guys like Engel, Goodwin, & Hamilton shouldn’t prevent us from upgrading RF. The challenge is more around having the prospect capital to address all three areas.
  15. I know the system is incredibly week right now, but it does feel like Winston Salem & Kannapolis will both sport pretty interesting rosters next year. Just need a few guys to break out and establish themselves as legit prospects.
  16. Whoops, good point of clarity there and I obviously have no problem with that take
  17. The weird part is he despises Vaughn in the outfield (despite him being more or less fine) but loves Eloy out there (despite nearly dying on multiple occasions). Not sure what his agenda is, but it’s strange nonetheless.
  18. Apparently he’s having TJS this week, so the box score is unfortunately an error.
  19. That’s not good if Seattle is trading for rentals. That could make them a legit thread for Escobar.
  20. He has #1 starter stuff, stop dreaming about him being a reliever
  21. We never doubted this offense for a second tonight!
  22. ELOY!?! Take your time big fella, no need to over-celebrates...lol
  23. We better get two fucking runs here
