  1. Based loaded one our for Anderson to inning ending double play, fuck you blue
  2. Two starts in our last six games but who’s counting...
  3. Zuber’s got a case of the Fulmer’s it appears
  4. We could use one of those walks right here Zuber!
  5. The baseball gods clearly feel compassion for poor Ricky
  6. I really don’t get what you’re arguing here.
  7. Lol...of course Yolmer hits a double after all the hate
  8. If we’re sticking with what we got, this is the lineup I’d like to see against RHP: Anderson, SS Grandal, C# Abreu, 1B Jimenez, LF Robert, CF Moncada, 3B# Encarnacion, DH Mazara, LF* Madrigal, 2B
  9. The Yolmer addition made theoretical sense from a depth perspective, but it was just a matter of time before Ricky started using him too much.
  10. Resources are ultimately finite and without question I would prioritize adding a high-end starter over a big time RF (don’t think we can add both). That being said, if we decide that our 3-4-5 next year is some sort of combo of Cease, Dunning, & Kopech then we better be landing a superstar RF.
  11. If Grandal hasn’t worked on his game-calling at this point in his career, it ain’t happening bud. And outside of Giolito, who has come out and said they prefer McCann catching them?
  12. Welcome to the board! IMO, zero chance McCann turns down a QO as the pay would be substantial and most teams would be turned away from signing him if attached to a draft pick.
  13. I’m awake & sober now and still don’t get this thread.
  14. Yeah, his 2019 season was split between Low A & High A. He was very good in High A over his 12 starts, but as we all know AA is the real test and until he’s proven himself there I’m not sure how he can really be part of our starting mix.
  15. Unless we add Springer for RF, entering next year with no rotation upgrade is inexcusable. We should be all systems go come 2021 and that means improving our biggest weakness which is the starting rotation. I get we should have five theoretical starters with Kopech coming back, but no competitor in their right mind is going to war with so much uncertainty in a given area of their roster. We need another reliable starter in the 1 to 3 range and need a better 6th starter. If you can add a guy via free agency or trade and hold onto Kopech then you are set. But relying on guys like Rodon (who has proven he can’t stay healthy as a starter) or Stiever (who hasn’t even pitched in AA) to be our depth is crazy. We really need to stop fucking around next year and I can promise you having too much will never be a problem. If Kopech looks like the budding TOR starter we all hope he’ll be, we’ll find to make it work. Until then, plan for the worst and make sure you have six legit options.
  16. I’m so fucking confused right now, hopefully that’s just me waking from a drunken stupor
