  1. Oh double fuck! And yes, raBBit the fucking man!
  2. My wife & kids are gone for the night and I’m heading to the bar for the night until this thing pops.
  3. God I wish Nolan would shut his fucking mouth for a second and realize that no one cares what he has to say.
  4. Oh shit, Wheeler + Castellalos happening!?!? Double Turkey Day surpise incoming!?!
  5. What good is hitting the market two days early when those days are Thanksgiving & Black Friday?
  6. I’m pretty sure that saying “guys like” implied it wasn’t a comprehensive list, but my point is posters who have been here for years and present information are vastly different than a guy with no posting history stating some crazy shit. But if this is simply about you getting recognition, you did get the Herrera signing correct so good job there.
  7. Yeah, I did read the article. What's garbage about it?
  8. That's true, but we're also a very small portion of the fanbase that reads articles because other people on a message board mention them. The vast majority of Sox fans just see a headline while skimming the Sox's actual site and decide whether they're going to read an article or not.
  9. We really need to stop with the blanket hating of insiders. Yes, peavy44 was a fraud and plenty of random's pop up with claims of rumors, but guys like @raBBit, @Y2Jimmy0, & @iamshack are legit and either have sources or are connected to others that do. If raBBit is optimistic about a Wheeler signing, then we should all be optimistic as it's likely based on some credible information.
  10. I'm on my work computer and find it completely reprehensible someone would post an emoji so vulgar.
  11. Ray is wrong about Merkin as his article is about Yolmer and the headline contains no mention of Wheeler. He did not generate more clicks by adding Wheeler to it.
  12. ^^Awesome post ^^Shitty post
  13. If it was Keuchel and he was the TOR starter I'd have to get blacked out a day earlier and for all the wrong reasons.
  14. What the fuck just happened? I tried to log on after a meeting and thought Wheeler may have broken Soxtalk!
  15. We’ll find out soon enough! If it doesn’t happen today, I think we’re looking at next week at the earliest. I really don’t see a big move happening on Blackout Wednesday.
  16. Exactly, which is why this isn’t about sneaking him through and 100% about freeing a roster spot.
  17. I’m only partially serious, but IMO there is a ton of smoke and I think this Yolmer outright makes highly likely something happens today with Wheeler being the most probable.
  18. Yes, I think we all pretty much agree.
  19. His average fastball velocity was only 92.1 last year, so he would ranked around 40th for qualified pitchers or 70th with a 100 inning requirement.
  20. One crazy thing about adding Wheeler is how many high velocity pitchers our rotation would have. Here’s where our guys ranked last year in terms of fastball velocity: #04 - Wheeler - 96.7 #09 - Lopez - 95.5 #15 - Giolito - 94.3 ** - Cease - 96.6 (would rank 5th) ** - Kopech - 95.9 (would rank 7th) Realistically we could have three guys in the top 5 assuming Kopech’s velocity returns to normal plus one more in the top 10 and another in the top 15. Stuff wise, no other organization would come close to having this many starters at this level.
