Donaldson is 34 Bryant is 28. Bryant is more than likely able to return to MVP form. Give me the higher upside/younger guy

Meh....lets go battle, i would still take our roster over theirs as constructed for next season and the future moving forward. Our team is a night and day difference from last season and we have many young pitchers. The Sox will be just fine.

Not saying they would resign either of those two but trading for 2 years of Bryant is doable for them, would have kept them in contention and be an all in move. Just saying they were going to get someone. Donaldson doesn’t move the needle much for me, they had a lot of career years last season and when it’s all said and done it comes down to pitching. If they have it or not is yet to be seen.

Meh I’d rather them sign an aging 3B, hope he falls off the cliff rather than them make a trade for an arenado or Bryant

Meh, Mendick is going to be the opening day second basemen for a few weeks, you are going to need a little more depth then that to start the season and with the moves they have made so far I’m assuming they are going to want someone a little more proven to be able to handle infield duties.

I can’t see them not bringing in a super utility guy and simply rolling with what we have. As constructed that seems to be really the last piece we need to go into the season.

I still expect a utility infielder to be brought in. Someone who can play 2nd, SS, and 3rd.

Great signing to wrap up an A+ offseason. Now the Whitesox just need to clear a couple roster spots to officially announce Cishek and Encarnacion.
