2016 MLB Draft
Eric: You mentioned in your mock that the White Sox are recently on Collins. Would that be with the idea of going under-slot and using that money on high school talent that falls? Klaw: Doubt it. Collins isn’t getting past 12, so why would he take well under slot at 10?

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 3, 2016 -> 01:08 PM) Joey Lucchesi vs. Dakota Hudson at 1:30 on Espn3 About to tune in as well. Mainly because I could totally see the Sox grabbing Hudson if something goes awry in the top 9.

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 3, 2016 -> 11:57 AM) whitesoxdave @barstoolWSD 43m43 minutes ago Chicago, IL The #WhiteSox are working out Puerto Rican SS Delvin Perez, Wisconsin prep SS Gavin Lux and a few others at The Cell right now whitesoxdave @barstoolWSD 9m9 minutes ago Chicago, IL Wisconsin C Ben Rortvedt also working out, pea shooter of an arm Interesting on Rortvedt. Best prep catcher in the class depending on who you ask. Bat first catcher currently, but could certainly stick behind the plate with some work/development by most accounts.

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (fathom @ May 27, 2016 -> 11:37 AM) Brian Any new buzz on Atlanta at 3? KLaw Nothing new on the top 3-4 teams. About the only really new thing is that it seems like Corey Ray is without a clear landing spot right now. Dream scenario. Regardless there are some nice options that should be available at 10.

2016 MLB Draft
New BA Mock via John Manuel. Big shake-up in that he has Moniak going 1-1. Cal Quantrill going 8 to the Padres is also atypical. Has the Sox taking Collins at 10, even with Rutherford available. I'm okay with that. Still has the Sox on Lauer with the 26th pick which makes sense. Does note some interest in Keegan Akin as well. Presumably later in the draft. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/mock-...kJP5eC9PFPk1.97

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 24, 2016 -> 03:22 PM) Wheres that from? I can't see the Sox not taking a pitcher with any of their first three picks. I think it's his personal wishlist. Not really a mock from any publication.

White Sox To Sign Chance The Rapper
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 11:49 AM) Was on his site within the first few seconds that the hats were available. Was going to buy the black one until I noticed they were all snapbacks. You and me both. Super bummed they weren't fitted. Was going to buy one of each.

2016 MLB Draft
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 09:03 AM) Kyle Lewis is becoming my top choice at No. 10, but who knows if he will be available then. Beyond the insane power numbers (12 HRs in 108 ABs) and great average (.426), he has walked 33 times compared to 17 strikeouts. Love that type of plate control and discipline. He's my position player of choice. Ahead of Ray.
