Is Vargas gonna be our All-Star?
This was not well thought through.

OMG THEY ACTUALLY SENT VAUGHN TO CHARLOTTE
Sounds like it would have been more of the same even if we kept him. But I don’t think this is breaking news for anyone that follows the Sox. https://www.sportsmockery.com/chicago-white-sox/gavin-sheets-reflects-on-struggles-with-white-sox-i-lost-my-love-for-baseball/#:~:text=“ I definitely lost my love, what I want to do%3F

Rubenstein of O's pushes for salary cap
Let’s not buy into the narrative that we’ve been sold and perpetuate the idea that the Sox are not a big market team. They very much are (regardless of how they act).

Sox Announce All Their Theme Nights
If you can’t get up for Weather Night, you don’t have a pulse.

It’s embarrassing that this is a thread topic.

2025 White Sox offseason preview
It’s in there. You just have to pay close attention: “Once they set the MLB loss record, they're going where no modern baseball team has ever gone before.”

First Move
Isn’t this the plot to Major League?

Sox "gathering names" in MGR search
Happy to hear they have the concept of a plan.

Reinsdorf keeps "failing" the White Sox...
Great article! And not the same surface complaints we read over and over. Gets a little more into the depths of thing (inasmuch as possible in a short article).

Fedde/Pham/$ to STL, Kopech to LAD, Miguel Vargas + prospects to Sox
God, I love this post.

Yankees deep in Jazz talks
Why am I seeing #20 on MLB? How can they be that far off?

Crochet wants an extension to pitch in the playoffs
So, Crochet essentially just (potentially) doomed himself to being stuck on the Sox for the remainder of the year, as opposed to actually playing for something meaningful? Who the hell is giving this guy advice?

Crochet Trade Updates (Nightengale)
Meh. Don’t assume based off of one offseason and some dipshit named “Sportsguy.”

Heyman: Senzel to Sox
No single organization maximizes a player’s potential like the White Sox. I’m all in.

Cease To Padres per Passan
I was going to write “thanks,” but then realized I would just be admitting a problem.

Cease To Padres per Passan
The numnuts on Orioles Hangout are literally arguing over whether Skenes for Holliday is a good trade. They have entered the territory of blindly following their GM and have become an amalgamation of his prospect hugging obsession. Based on that message board, there is no fan base in baseball that is more unrealistic about the presumption that every prospect turns out exactly as graded. Being this close to a World Series and ignoring a 41-year old drought is absolutely absurd. Their unfounded and recent arrogance makes me dislike no team more. (I’m drunk. End rant.)
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
Likely worth more? He’s worth way more. I don’t know what package Baltimore could put together to pry Skenes away, but it certainly doesn’t begin and end with Holliday.
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
What makes this 400-page thread so much fun is that both sides know that the two teams aren’t going to be trade partners.

Cease To Padres per Passan
Welcome back, @Rolle Tide. Always interesting to hear another perspective (when it’s not SportsGuy).

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Yes. I’m incredibly petty.

Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Fine. I’ll say it. I just don’t WANT them to help Baltimore. F the O’s! It’s all I have to root for this year.
-
Story on Sox trade possibilities...
I just don’t see any way the Sox make a trade with Baltimore. I’m not even factoring them in the discussion right now.

Rooting against the Sox
Agreed. There is no reality where I root against them. That being said, my apathy is at a level I never thought possible. I have been trying to follow other teams, but it just doesn’t work. It’s so forced. Also, I do feel bad for the players. Including the minor leaguers, who have hopes of developing their skills and becoming successful major leaguers.
