  1. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 12:16 PM) "First of all, we love football," Urlacher said in quotes obtained by the Chicago Tribune. "We want to be on the field as much as we can be. If we can be out there, it may be stupid, it may be dumb, call me dumb and stupid then, because I want to be on the football field." "If I have a concussion these days, I'm going to say something happened to my toe or knee just to get my bearings for a few plays," he told HBO, according to the Tribune. "I'm not going to sit in there and say I got a concussion. (Then) I can't go in there the rest of the game." http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...-lie-stay-field I think I have enough respect already for Brian, I really wouldnt want to have him eating out of a tube at 45. Yeah...concussions are no joke.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 01:34 AM) I'm disliked because I back Ozzie big time and back some of the players who are (were) hated. Like Jenks, Jermaine, Wise, Pods, Juan Pierre, CQ, etc. And I don't like Kenny and blast Rios and Dunn a lot. I also praise Rongey and Hawk and Cowley and am disliked for that as well. Jenks: Loved until he didn't come into the season in shape (Don't you hate Dunn for something like that?) Jermaine: ADORED. But there is a reason no one else offered him a deal. Wise: One. Good. Play. Pods: I f***ing love Pods, but he looked like a frightened antelope in the OF and he overestimated his market value twice (turning down Dodgers mutual option, asking the Sox for $7M per) Pierre: I'm cool with Juan Dog, but he started out abysmally slow each year, had less power than me, and played s***ty D last year. 2010 he was fine. CQ: No one hated. He was just a very streaky hitter who got injured a lot. Stop rewriting history to make you and Ozzie sound like some martyrs when all you two are is stubborn as hell.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 07:20 PM) I'd like to say I hope This is a hoax, but even then that would be pretty sick. Campaign manager for a House candidate in Arkansas came home to find their cat killed with the word "liberal" written on it. I picked a link that didn't include te photo, and I wish I hadn't seen it myself. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 11:11 PM) Not sure where else to post this/wasn't sure if it was somewhere else yet. http://nymag.com/news/features/danny-chen-2012-1/ Both of these sicken me.
  4. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 11:12 PM) I don't post here enough to really know the personalities. Is greg775 a parody poster?

  7. Unless they are managerial candidates for baseball teams. But seriously, good for them.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 09:26 AM) http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-c...40Y6K_blog.html Well damn.
  9. To Ozzie: "jajajajajajaja" Marlins will flounder against the sea of Phillies, Braves, and Nats. Puns intended.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 12:58 AM) Are you guys saying you are glad Mark is gone? How could anybody take that position? Ohmyf***inggod. FIND ONE PERSON WHO SAID "I AM GLAD MARK BUEHRLE IS NO LONGER A WHITE SOX PLAYER."

    The Tank

QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 09:51 PM) He will be starting for a second division team...that assessment is spot-on What is a second-divison team? AAA? NCAA Division II?
  12. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 09:42 PM) Yeah I mean I really hated when he helped end that 88 year drought, that was awful
  13. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 09:29 PM) Oney would've hated us drafting this guy. For a variety of reasons. Starting with his athleticism! And he's black.
  14. When did Eli Manning and Alex Smith become cold-blooded killers?
  15. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) Dunn, Viciedo, Flowers, and maybe even Ian Gac I guess. Alexei has.....Eduardo Escobar. Besides a 1B is 100x easier to replace than a SS. No. Dunn is a DH. Viciedo IS IN RIGHT FIELD. NO MORE MOVING. Flowers is our only non-AJ catcher. Ian Gac? Eduardo Escobar and Tyler Kuhn make more sense than any of the four you said.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 07:32 PM) Alexei has NO immediate organizational depth behind him, Konerko does. Paulie does?

    Mayo Clinic

My family went there (the one in Rochester) all the time for major things until insurance covered Barnes-Jewish instead. They diagnosed my grandmother's ALS early enough to make life a little easier for her. My dad had numerous surgeries there. In my opinion it's the best of the best all around, though you can still find equally as great individuals in Chicago. I wanted to go there for a diagnosis when I had a mystery blackout three years ago, I wanted to go there but couldn't and got OK but not great service from Barnes-Jewish.
  18. Bravo J4L. As far as I'm concerned, the last three months of this man's life were hell and he fell about as far as you can fall. He paid his price for his f*** up. Just waiting for Sandusky and McQueary to pay their price.
  19. I really wish the Bears had ponied up for Boldin. It was what? A 3rd round pick?

    SOPA

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 05:03 PM) If people steal a cancer drug that is on copyright, but it keeps them alive, is that a bad thing? That was a stupid argument and I've been agreeing with you.
