And That's a White Sox HR powered winner and Lance Lynn 1st Win Victory.
He famously hit a home run over the Durham Bull - which meant he didn't get a steak, because you only get one if you hit it.

Official NBA 22-23
Well, while grabbing drinks with my friend that's a Spurs fan, he said he's excited cause he doesn't have to obsess over mock drafts like he usually does. I told him I'm the same way, but for very different reasons.

A reminder that @kwillis starting today's game thread. Anyone else does it and they have to write a 10-page single-spaced paper on why they love Rick Hahn.

Kopech turns to rubble. (Fangraphs article)
I mean, Cease is having a rough start this season, but did you not watch him last year? Katz should definitely be on the hot seat, but like, Gio, Rodon and Cease all had great turnarounds under him

Who would you actually pay to watch hit?
I think it might be disrespectful to dig up Nellie's grave, personally.

Will the Sox do the right thing when Eloy comes back and move Yoan to 2B?
Take Yoan Moncada from 3rd, where he's very, very good and move him to second, where he's bad. Play Jake Burger at 3rd, where he's bad and Hanser Alberto is used as a defensive replacement. ??? Profit. I think I'd almost rather teach Burger to play second. Or we teach Jake Burger to play catcher.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
Minnie had a paternity lawsuit (it ended up being bunk) and showed up late to spring training in a brand new cadillac (cause he loved cars). Somehow, I don't feel like he would have been well received by some here without nostalgia glasses.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
I'll add this: TA has problems, yeah. But we were all clamoring for Machado despite his "Johnny Hustle" reputation after he left the Dodgers. And not signing him is one of, if not the, biggest failure of the rebuild.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
The Chicago White Sox are 43-59 without Tim Anderson since 2022. So they're still significantly better with him. No matter how you slice it, the Sox are better with Tim Anderson at the top of the lineup. Re: the highlighted, I guess you were clamoring for the Sox to show Frank Thomas the door in the 2005 offseason?
-
Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
The Chicago White Sox are 88-73 with Tim Anderson since June 30, 2021. The Chicago White Sox have a 54-73 record without Tim Anderson since June 30, 2021.

2024 FIRST PICK TANKATHON THREAD
Well, I got Sox, KC, Cards. Tankathon adding MLB to its roster is going to be terrible for my productivity barring a White Sox miracle.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
I'll let you compile this stat.

Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago
For the "trying era" 1. Tim plays over 162: 91 win pace. 2. Tim doesn't play: 72 win pace. Conclusion: TEAM CANCER
