  1. Impeachment can be as fast as Congress wants it to be.
  2. This is the modern GOP. They support it because the elected (including those who voted to certify the election - Graham, Blunt, Toomey, both Scotts, etc.) officials have supported all of Trump's lies and statements the past four years. Also, a bunch of people disgusted with the party dropped their affiliation, so you've had a distillation of the Republican Party while the Democratic Party became the big tent party that can include Joe Manchin and AOC.

  5. Also, when DC statehood comes up, this is the best argument for it (other than taxation without representation). A president can hold the district hostage while his supporters ransack the place if he disagrees with local politics / what's going on in the federal buildings. What if (taking it a step further) he decided to hire fucking Blackwater (or Academi — whatever their latest rebrand to avoid heat for warcrimes is).
  6. "Causing benches to empty" The current GOP has the temperament of the Astros or the Royals of the mid-2010s.
  7. He finally remembered what he meant when he said the GOP "will get destroyed" if they elect Trump.
  8. I was referring to the specific names Caulfield was listing. Yeah, Hogan and Baker will be looked back on well. Raffensberger will as well. But Thune? Blunt? Scott? The fuck they all do other than enable?
  9. I know it's your thing, but you don't have to list anyone after Romney and maybe Flake.
  10. Romney has a death glare on Hawley
  11. Rep. Mullin (R-OK) just pulled the "both sides" card on NBC. He's saying these aren't true Trump supporters doing this, implying that it's more likely antifa.
  12. What does DC food twitter have to say?
  13. Both my post and your post are correct.
  14. It was under MAGA control.
  15. I thought he would be catastrophically awful. He is somehow worse.
  16. I find this very believable. We were told this was coming.
  17. I found the violent protestors.
  18. The deal with Manchin would be to nix the filibuster, which Manchin has come out against. With the filibuster intact, there's gonna be no statehood for PR and DC.
  19. Merrick Garland expected to be named AG. I figure he'll get through the Senate.
