The Yermin-Vaughn-Abreu Conundrum
Eh, Vaughn proving that he can handle LF is making Yermin an awfully attractive trade piece this summer, especially if the NL adds the DH. Unless Vaughn and Eloy become your corner OF (and Robert just covers 75% of the OF), you're gonna need to decide between Eloy and Yermin. Which should be a real easy decision.

Ride the hot hand, man. Ride the hot hand. And now we're beginning to see power. In a few weeks we get to trade Jake Lamb for Adam Engel. And then later in the year we get Eloy and Robert. This team is fun.

Well, I have no idea if the collegiate gold glove is BS or not, but Burger did win one.

Both have World Series rings, so I can't really question them? Yes, Hinch's team cheated, but so did Tony's first team. I think that means we have to give Hinch at least a decade to prove himself with another contender.

The TLR Manager Thread
Correct. And none of us could ever be a reporter of Passan or Rosenthal's caliber, so if they're writing that the White Sox's locker room is questioning La Russa, who are we to question their reporting, using your logic? No one here thinks they could manage a major league team. They think there are people who could manage this team better than Tony La Russa.

The TLR Manager Thread
He has three rings, brother. Ignore that the league has changed and every baseball thing he's done since 2011 has been laughably bad. If La Russa wasn't named Tony La Russa, his performance would be hated by everyone so far.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I think you think Andújar is a different player. Looking at statcast and dWAR, he's worse than Eloy. So, yes, hypothetically he is defensively versatile. But so is Yermin, hypothetically.

Sox #1 in the majors in run differential
From Reddit: Big takeaways: - Central is the Sox for the taking - This is without the power showing up, and we know the Sox have power.

Sox #1 in the majors in run differential
To me the fact that they're doing this without our power bats waking up (Abreu, Grandal, Vaughn) and other ones out until later in the season (Eloy, Robert) just bodes well for the team. They're creating runs, but eventually they'll start launching homers.

Curbelo's got a double as well. Duke Ellis has a 3-run double in the game as well, which reminded me that we multiple centerfielders in the system with 80-grade names.

Watching Thompson throw his curveball makes me so glad that we don't have Don Cooper anymore.

Matt Thompson was in a jam and made a behind the back grab to get himself out of the inning. What stood out was he made it look so easy. Hopefully the Cannon Ballers put it online.

Because he didn't get to AAA, is still young enough to be there and be (just barely) age appropriate, they probably want both him, Rutherford, and Sheets to all get constant corner OF starts, so someone had to be in AA. As for each of his homers, unfortunately, I don't have statcast data for Micker Adolfo's minor league career. But he has big time power and a big time arm.

I don't think so. Micker Adolfo can only hit 95+ slowballs.

Decided to get MiLB.TV, mainly for Kanny, but checking in on the other games as well. Unless you mean in person, in which case, I got nothing.
