Felicio, you may finally come through.

If I remember correctly, only the Suns and Kings weren't going to pick Luka in the top 3. The Suns were because it was considered a 1A/1B draft (much like the other ill-fated 1A/1B drafts of Oden/Durant, Rose/Beasley) and they wanted the hometown big-man that fit with Booker. The Kings wanted Bagley because he was the only player interested in Sacramento, solely because he wanted to be drafted as high as possible.

I don't think the Bulls beat Atlanta's offer. What hurts the most is the fact that winning the stupid coin flip with the Kings, giving the Bulls better lottery odds, ended up giving the Kings the #2 pick.

I'll miss Gafford's crazy man energy, but my dude was limited.
-
I'm talking about the pre-Kyrie/KD Nets that made the playoffs, not the Harden to the Nets situation.
-
Like others have weighed in, the Stepien Rule prevents trading picks in back-to-back years. So we're safe there. Pick swaps is another story.

I will not stand for this Ben Gordon slander.

Pros: Team is going for the playoffs, which can be a signal to star players "come join Zach/Vuc", which we saw in Brooklyn. If they get Ball, well, I'm digging a lineup of Ball-Zach-Williams-Thad-Vuc. The big issue is suddenly cap space, but we've seen teams make it work. Cons: Betting a lot of draft capital - if those picks aren't protected, well, this is mad risky.

Holy shit, didn't realize the numbers Vučević has been putting up this year. Signed two more years at $24M and $22M respectively. 2 1sts can be real dangerous though.

Victor Torres fanclub! Or Collins gets time, some day.

My brain keeps telling me that there's no way Vaughn is a worse LF than Eloy at this point, even if he sucks in the OF. The bar is just that low for me, but then I try and picture other 1Bs throughout the years in the OF and I realize it's a non-starter.

I'm 99% certain it was the bigot dude.

Move the signing period back to July, you cowards.

Could also be the Washington Nationals?

Siakim is getting heated in Toronto. With Brogdon, Sabonis, Lonzo, Aaron Gordon and others on the market, it seems like a good time for the Bulls to try and make a swing for one or two guys to pair with Zach. Supposedly PWill is off limits. Sucks that Coby and Carter had to regress so hard.

Coby + 1st for Brogdon would be almost a fireable offense for the Pacers GM.

I debated adding Alek Thomas since he was an obvious choice, but Harold has laid out why the team didn't draft him. Not going to add Montas, Bassitt, Semien, J.B. Wendelken, who I'm shocked you didn't add. The reason being is you're going so far back at that point that you could change the draft positions, players prioritized in trades, etc. WAY too drastically over the past few years. Tatis, Kelenic, Lewis, Thomas probably don't alter that too much (you might not end up with Crochet due to Tatis, but there's a chance you still do, since the Padres drafted ahead of the Sox this year. I think we all take that trade). The A's players do. -

Unfortunately we can play a lot of this: What if we took Kyle Lewis, Kelenic, and didn't trade Tatis? All these things were projected/realistic to some degree. The lineup that comes out of that is instant dynasty. At the same time, every team can probably play that game: What if Boston traded Benintendi instead of Moncada, what if the Cardinals raised their offer to Robert, Cubs didn't trade Eloy, Nationals didn't trade Giolito, Dunning, and Nationals Version of Lopez, etc. -

At this point, I'll be shocked if Vaughn isn't in the Opening Day lineup. -

I know it's Spring Training, but it hurts looking at how well Quintana is doing this spring. -
Some things states can handle by themselves - DMV is a good one. Managing a global pandemic, no. Not when person can hope state lines and cause an outbreak. We're gonna need a system operated by the entire, United States government if we're ever going to get out of this mess.

1) Can you imagine if MLB allowed trading draft picks (outside of the stupid Competitive Balance rounds) 2) I love the "first since 2019, Kumar Rocker" graphic.

Update: Feel like I was hit by a scooter and very sore eyes to the point that I can't wear my contacts, but that's about it. I started taking some vitamins and hydrating way more than I was previously (which I should have been doing ahead of time) to prep for this, so that may have helped.
