Agreed. I stay put at 4. No one at the top screams "move up and draft me"

If you're saying politicians in particular, specifically elected politicians, they can't be fired. Just voted out.

You gotta imagine it's Killian Hayes or LaMelo there. Edit: Forgot Deni Avdija somehow. The Ringer has Charlotte taking Deni, Bulls taking Melo. I can see it going either way.

I want to know in what situation this is not a fireable offense?

Fly the Coop - Analysis of White Sox pitcher development and Coop'
Quin replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Sox should pick him up. Former first round pick. Electric stuff in college. Coop will fix 'em. -
I agree, just laying out the argument.

Go to him, ask if he'd sign an extension if he were guaranteed a rotational role. If not, the way to maximize his value is trade him, unless you believe the Sox can win the World Series this year. I'm not saying they should trade him, just that this would be the logic.

He would like to apologize who people who sign his paychecks while reminding them he is a man of faith. But real quick, he must call a HR that is landing in the judgement free zone. This is the second funniest HR call of all time after Mike Trout swimming through the universe, except this one is like an SNL sketch.

This video is amazing. This person was in so much creative pain. Bobby Jenks and then a bunch of awful.

This part cracked me up. Yeah, Dunning is a good prospect and he balled out because Coop hasn't stolen his curveball. He's still not nearly as highly rated as Mize.

If Luis was a chunky DH that played at Bama, sure.

LuBob is Top 5 worst nicknames. Top 1 when you realize the alternative and preferred nickname by the player is La Pantera, which is cool.
-
If Dunning beats Mize, I'm pretty sure that makes him a Top 20 prospect.

To borrow some phrasing from The Daily Tar Heel, what a predictable and easily foreseen clusterfuck.

There was once an unwritten rule to now allow Black guys on MLB rosters. Jimmy Dykes would tell his players to "hit that n*****".

To be fair, he's batting right behind our rookie phenom that is a highlight reel every time he steps on the field, an All-Star catcher, the guy who hit the 2nd most home runs in the last decade, the sophomore slugger, the team leader, the star third baseman, and a batting champion. Like, the lineup is hypothetically stacked when it's hitting on all cylinders. There's no shame in where he's hitting right now.

Did you wait over a calendar year to respond so that you could say "this is 2020" instead of "this is 2019"?
-
Here I am secretly hoping this leads to Tatis demanding a trade away from the Padres, depriving them for the dumbest of the reasons.

This team likes to hit homers.
