  1. Soc aren't good at trades. Eloy won't be traded. I guess all depends on what Abreu wants to do.
  2. I'm surprised they haven't been booed off the field this whole week. There should be chants of bring back Tony because he owns this.
  3. Bring up all of Charlotte. They wont underachieve. They'll just be bad,
  4. Kinda hard when a youngster hasn't gotten many at bats as of late.
  5. It is. But he has shown he settles down at times in later innings. I guess not everyone can be Cueto.
  6. Cubs overestimated at the deadline. I guess the trend is youth. A catcher switching leagues is not easy. Unfortunately long term deals are the only way if signing someone.
  7. Another NL player showing signs of being on the downside. Eventually he would be the Sox next Grandal.
  8. I didn't believe and thought it was sarcasm until I seen these clips.
  9. I make Gio go 9. It doesn't matter now and see how much he sucks.
  10. I'm gonna guess that many of Jerry's buddies are deep in the organization. Performance doesn't count.
  11. You have to replace them with better players. That's hard to do. The Sox aren't good at that.
  12. That trio on the SCORE are often Hahn apologists and take the side it's all on Tony. If you listened to Holmes earlier he talked about how bad the Grandal signing was - of course hind sight. The sore legs is an indirect knock against Vaughn, When you are not good at drafting or development you end up with a lot of bad trades or signings. I can't ignore the mentally soft label since there is no pressure on anyone in all parts of the organization. This CLE series is too reminiscent of being the Twin's b**** when they played in that dome. Since this century you've had 2 GMs and the philosophy is still the same. I apologize to Cub fans for claiming their organization is a joke after this past season. Interesting hearing the CLE announcers talk about Sox lack of hustle and how the fan base hates the team.
  13. The trick is drafting guys who do just that. We've learned you can't coach stupid out of a player.
  14. Only if you heard the one on the SCORE.
  15. There's less honesty in that than a political campaign ad
  16. I'm thinking of 3rd so Yoan can be benched when he starts his Randy Moss mode. I also think it's cautionary that Andrus could be one of those lightning in a bottle guys spending too much time with the Sox.
  17. Sox announcers are indirectly criiticizing the Sox.
  18. Unfortunately they are all from Cleveland.
  19. This would be a good look at players who decided to quit or lack mental toughness. Unfortunately I'd hate it if they became better players after being traded.
  20. Might have to consider keeping Andrus and working him at 3rd next season to Moancada can be benched for stupidity.
