Packing LaRoche for salary relief?
I'm pretty sure LaRoche's contract for next year isn't going to hamper them signing a big FA, as they could backload the deal The issue with signing a big FA is bidding against other teams like NYY, BOS, DET, etc.

Sox Acquire All-Star 3B Todd Frazier from Reds in 3 team deal
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Dec 16, 2015 -> 11:31 AM) Please get Alexei and Cespedes now. PLEASE. sox aren't landing cespedes or upton. not a chance. those guys are gonna get over 20m/year easily.

Heyman: Justin Upton to the Tigers
look at those graphs, Upton is the clear choice if you ask me the strikeouts don't mean much to me as he still has the highest OBP of the group and 2nd highest number of homeruns

Todd Frazier Available
looking at Fraziers stats he looks like another low obp guy who can hit Homers and has a meager batting average did we not try this recipe already or are people saying our offense is nearly complete and he would somehow be the final piece to the puzzle dunno if I agree. oh and another NL guy. how could this possibly go wrong?

White Sox acquire Brett Lawrie
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 03:54 PM) He was drafted out of HS, and probably thought he was hot ****. A person could mature with age. That was 7-8 years ago. Stop trying to prove your point. Lots of guys are drafted out of HS.

Why Not Go For It?
if they go for it, they need to go with free agent signings. that keeps quintana here and keeps the farm system stocked

White Sox decline to tender Tyler Flowers and Jacob Turner
QUOTE (BigFinn @ Dec 2, 2015 -> 09:52 PM) The Brewers don't need Tim Anderson as a shortstop prospect, they have Orlando Arcia coming up through their minor league system. They could be thinking about Anderson as a 2nd baseman. The Sox brass might also be thinking along those lines. If Anderson isn't going to be a major league shortstop, I think he becomes more tradable. or they're looking to flip anderson and hang onto their own ss prospect

White Sox sign Alex Avila
if they set this up as a platoon then it's a steal at 2.5m+whatever flowers makes.
-
Mariners working on deal for Ozuna
a young hitter who's shown to have issues in his sophomore year with the bat. the sox are literally the last team in baseball you'd bet on to remind a guy how to hit a baseball

White Sox mentioned as potential landing spot for Upton
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 22, 2015 -> 08:17 PM) Morbid is a specialty around these parts. I wonder why that would be

White Sox mentioned as potential landing spot for Upton
why would this team be signing more expensive free agents they aren't going anywhere next year.

The Democrat Thread
I also love how the question to the panel regarding Hilary voting FOR war in Iraq was "she said it was a mistake. isn't that enough?" but the question about Sanders voting AGAINST the Vietnam War was basically "So he voted against Vietnam, can he really be commander in chief?" LOL are you fking kidding me?

The Democrat Thread
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 03:11 PM) So, does CNN get paid by Clinton? Holy crapola, their home page has been a love fest for her all day long. I mean, she did well, but I honestly think O'Malley and maybe Sanders did more positive for themselves than she did. CNN is owned by Time Warner, who is one of her largest donors.

Article on Hanley Ramirez
QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) A over 30 declining player, no thanks. over 30, past prime declining player who can't play defense? he'll be on the opening day roster probably.

First airing of White Sox Weekly on WLS Saturday
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 01:43 PM) It's all my parents listen to on the radio, and my grandma has about 5 or 6 radios placed around her house, always playing WLS, 24 hours a day. She even leaves them on while she is gone because she thinks it will make people think someone is home. I'm VERY familiar with the station. lol. nice name. assuming you like hot peppers... what's your favorite super hot chili?
