  1. It would bother me if they moved. I want my White Sox here in Chicago. No two ways about it
  2. You can't have Sosa, Vargas, Baldwin, and Beni all playing left. I'm afraid Vargas is simply the third baseman. Baldwin at first base? Beni and Sosa DH? Perhaps Braden Montgomery in left?
  3. Although he was a good addition for 2025, I'm glad he won't be back.
  4. "C" His hands were tied to a large degree. He made some good moves, some bad. I like his vision of the type of team he wants. He has built a strong "up the middle" With Teel,Miedroth, Colson and Robert. Still a long ways to go, but the next wave of youth is on the way. Still though a "C".
  5. It really hurts that your post is so godamn accurate.
  6. Just throw out every loss and they are undefeated! They are what they're record is....terrible.
  7. Genuine progress? Anyway you spin it, this is three (Three!!) 100 loss seasons in a row. I find it hard to celebrate anything at this point.
  8. Those two sentances hit the nail on the head. Even better let Stone go completeley.
  9. This has gotten so painful..............It just feels hopeless.
  10. I laughed out loud when I heard him say that.
  11. Born there but how long since you lived there. Answer the question please.
  12. If Chase is no longer chasing is he still "Chase" Miedroth?
  13. Chicago is Chicago. Its not any other city. Many people on this site live out of town. Thats fine. I'm glad you are White Sox fans and/or strong to your roots, but don't pretend you know our city in 2025. Suburbanites are not riding the CTA at night. The CTA lines for the Northside franchise do not run through the west and south sides. The 78 might work because of it's proximity to downtown. The riverwalk, water taxis, Uber, and short bus rides to ample dowtown parking could do it.
  14. Will Guaranteed rate turn that arrow around now?
  15. Fletcher inCF Robertson inRF. No Baldwin or tauchman.
  16. Scrap heap, over the hill, great potentials who never made it, scandalous, has beens, other teams rejects, risky in some way or another. Its the CWS way. Every now and then, knitting this type of group together gets a competitive team, but nothing enduring. However this season has seen our minor leagues supply us with a group of rookies who have made for a fun summer here in town, I never thought hoping for 63 wins would be cause to celebrate. Thats how far we have sunk. Somehow though this team has a feel good about it.
  17. How sweet it is! ...Sweep'em
  18. Grandal, Jimenez, Moncada, Anderson, and finally Robert. Open the windows and let the smell out, and the fresh air in. Buy him out and show him the door. Addition by subtraction.
