As soon as I turned on the game... passed ball. McCann is a really good defensive catcher and a "field general" type guy.

I was looking at his age-26 season, in 1994 - sure strike shortened and all, but my God... he was on pace to break every record that stood at the time.

Think about how great he was that season.... then think about how comparatively BAD his MVP season was to any of Frank Thomas' MVP seasons.
