Sad state of affairs for the Sox when the team that needed OF help the most traded for Chris Denorfia instead of De Aza or Viciedo. So it looks like the Sox will have 3 non-tenders this off-season.

He just wants to show the scouts how effective he is pitching in high-pressure situations.

That'd be something if his arm fell off right now.

Rick Hahn NOT making any trades doesn't mean he did nothing at the deadline. He has 5 or 6 players he realistically could trade. If the return isn't fair, why make a trade for the sake of making a trade. Sox fans: "...for the sake of Pete! Trade somebody! Anybody!"

I hope the Oakland A's win the World Series so all the 50 year old grumps on WSI will STFU and GTFO about how Billy Beane and his spreadsheets can't win a post season series.
