The Bench
I very highly doubt any acquisitions are coming, and I think the bench is pretty well set with Bonifacio, Beckham, Shuck and Soto. Bullpen is looking like Robertson-Duke-Petricka-Jennings-Putnam-Guerra with Cleto probably keeping Crain's spot warm.

Selection Sunday
That sounds like a pretty good deal for the region's 3 seed :>

Vacation/Travel Thread.
Which three days? We are arriving mid-day on the 24th and leaving early morning on the 27th. Had enough credit card points to get a free suite at the Econo Lodge right by the Space Needle.

Soxtalk Bracket Pool
I'm in.

South Region
I'm having the hardest time picking the winner in this region. I can make a case for five different teams.

Final Four Prediction Thread
Kentucky, Arizona, Villanova and SMU.

Midwest Region
Don't have to wait very long to see the Irish in action. Would have preferred a night game though to save a 1/2 day's vacation time.

South Region
Maybe, but they are #5 in RPI, #7 in BPI and #7 in Pomeroy. None of that adds up to being a Top four team. Arizona deserved a #1 over Duke.

First Four
Well, no worries about selling tickets with Dayton playing.

Midwest Region
Still trying to figure out why ND's pod got sent to Pittsburgh and Maryland's pod got sent to Columbus. Seems backwards. Also, all five Indiana teams in same region together with Kentucky.

Big Ten Tournament
If you can't tell whether or not a guy's foot is on the line from 20 feet away, then you have no f***ing business whatsoever being a DI referee.

ACC Tournament
I know it's a suicide mission, but I really want a shot at Kentucky. Half my friends will have to keep their mouths shut for an entire year around me if ND could pull off the impossible.

31 points in the last 9:01. An offensive clinic. As of now, Lunardi has ND as a #3 in the Midwest with Kentucky/Kansas as the #1/2. I soooo want that to actually happen.- Big Ten Tournament
Do the Badgers get to bring the refs who never call fouls to the NCAA tourney with them or leave them behind in Chicago?- Vacation/Travel Thread.
We are also going to Gatlinburg for Spring Break. Went once by ourselves a few years ago and taking the kids this year. The aquarium is a must-see for the kids, and if you pre-buy tickets here: https://ticketsgb.ripleys.com/gatlinburg/ you can get nice discounts if you add on other attractions. Went to the Titanic museum last time and it was great, not going this time because our kids aren't quite old enough to appreciate it, but if yours are 10+, I highly recommend that.- Big Ten Tournament
He can bring all the game he wants, he doesn't have the horses to even keep it close with Kentucky. Already down 14.- Big 12 Tournament
If ND and ISU both win tonight, interesting to see which team gets KU's #2 seed.- Big Ten Tournament
Yeah, IU fans definitely want to see Auburn, Temple, Rhode Island, UConn and Wyoming all lose today.- ACC Tournament
I don't know what the hell has gotten into Mike Brey, but suddenly he can coach in March. That was a genius defensive game plan last night. ND has never, ever won a postseason tournament of any kind. Tonight could be their first.- ACC Tournament
Duke looked awfully good last night, so I'm not expecting much from ND tonight. If it weren't a Friday, I might not even bother staying up to watch it. In the big picture, it doesn't really matter because ND is pretty locked in as a 3 seed right now. Maybe if they beat both Duke and Virginia they move up to a 2, but that still might require Kansas, Arizona or Wisconsin losing in their tournaments.- Big Ten Tournament
I think with all the other bubble teams that lost yesterday, IU is in. Winning today would get them out of the play-in round though. Ironically for Purdue, they were probably in no matter what if Iowa beat PSU, but now they probably have to avoid a bad loss to keep their spot.- Job Thread
There are some outstanding universities in Columbus, East Lansing, and South Bend that are all looking for quality employees.- There's a new Sox fan in town!
Congrats!!- The OU Frat Boys
Going to generalize quite a bit here without knowing all the details, but these are probably a group of kids who are mostly, white, rich, private-school educated, and feel incredibly entitled. They've gone through their HS years being able to do and say pretty much whatever they want because of their status. - ACC Tournament
