The last time Montero had the BABIP luck Flowers did last season, he was worth 4.6 WAR, and that probably underestimated him by a lot because he's a great framer Steamer has him projected for 3 WAR (again, consider framing) and Flowers for 0.9 (framing to be considered here too but not as much) He'd be an unquestionable upgrade

Bit annoying this, traded an intriguing prospect for him and then he crushes AAA and holds his own in the majors and we lose him

Is there a grade/ranking system? If so how did the Sox do? Any whispers/guesses on where Trexler starts next year?

This has meant that despite hitting at almost league-average level for the Sox, he's been worth -0.8 fWAR. Now I know that a) he's young and b) defensive statistics aren't perfect, but I think it's fairly obvious he's a butcher out there and I'm not too optimistic about it improving to a playable level. Time for a move to DH?
