If I was going to pick a trade scenario, I would go with Earl Watson for Bogans and Cook or Keyon Dooling for Bogans with a 2nd rounder thrown in.

Torn Labrum for Nelson, he can either rehab it, or have surgery and miss the season. Tough, tough decision, but you got to remember how a dislocated shoulder affected Dwayne Wade. I'd assume he'll try the rehab.

FWIW Abreu had a RZR of .872 last season compared to Dye's .887. Not a huge difference, but that was also Dye's highest RZR in a season since he's been with the White Sox.

If the Angels chucked in a decent prospect along with Figgins, I would pull the trigger on that deal, if you could get Bobby for 1/8.

COULD we run a smaller team and run and gun? I am not sure, but I think Rose is a pretty good player to build around if you want to play that way. The backcourt trio of Thabo, Kirk and Rose was fairly long, defended well and was unselfish. Honestly if the Bulls aren't going to find a good big with decent low post skills, that's exactly what they should do. Hence why D'Antoni would have been so perfect. I see the Knicks making the playoffs this season BTW.
