  1. I'm at the same exact point, taking over Ballas territories so I can finally get Sweet's mission.
  2. Yeah me either unless he's talking about the croupier. Details.Please.
  3. Bobcats almost blew it, were winning by a lot more heading into the 4th. I don't know what to think of Boston right now, they've got the pieces to be better, but guys like Mark Blount aren't really performing to what they're capable of.
  4. The D-Backs are in a strange situation. Most logic would indicate they should rebuild around their young players to make a push in the next few years. I found these points about them in a recent article;
  5. He has incriminating photos of GM Terry Ryan perhaps?
  6. Looks like the Rockies are most interested since they are most likely going to get rid of Shawn Chacon anyways.
  7. Who would the Mets give up though, Reyes and Wright are untouchable, they gave up Kazmir for Victor Zambrano last off-season (Fred Wilpon written all over it), and they're hardly stocked with talent as it is. Unless it was a 3 way, possibly with Anaheim and the Angels getting Piazza maybe.
  8. It's Bill Bavasi we're talkin bout here. He COULD actually be worse than KW, wow, never thought I'd say that bout any other GM before.
  9. Pieces from Arizona that could possibly be included in a deal, Jose Valverde Scott Hairston Alex Cintron Chad Tracey Shea Hillenbrand You get my drift.
  10. Considering he was looking for 5 million earlier on in the FA period, this is not a bad deal at all for the Brewers.
  11. I heard they were most interested in Redmond for that position, although it wouldn't suprise me if they are shopping Lieberthal although he could be a 10/5 player, I don't know.
  12. Don't forget Grandma now. Ralph Wiggum eating Tomacco - "It tastes like Grandma!"
  13. Looking at the Bulls' stats for this season there are a few that REALLY stick out. 1 - They shoot an average of 90.3 points a game and conceed an average of 101.6 points. 2 - The only shoot 40.8% from the floor, which is really quite terrible. Their opponents shoot 45.1% from the floor on the other hand. 3 - The Bulls only shoot 20.9 free throws a game, and only shoot 66%, while their opponents take 30.9 attempts from the line and make an average of 81%. 4 - The Bulls have only had 26 blocks, and conceed 102 fouls, while their opponents have had 46 blocks and only conceeded 73 fouls. Getting a guy like Dalembert would help fix problem #4 significantly, but they really need some guys who can get to the line more, someone like Paul Pierce who they were trying to get at the start of the season.

    Romans

    Better than your tennis performance this year I hope.
  15. FWIW on Sandy Alomar Jr., has anyone heard anything on whether or not he'll be playing on next season? I've heard he wants to get into coaching, and the Sox could certainly look at him in some form of minor league position.
  16. Frankly why not send out both? If you get Nene, Tskitka and possibly a future 1st for Tyson, and you could get Nazr Mohammed and Mike Sweeney plus a couple of draft picks for Curry, then your frontcourt would become a lot more deeper, which is something the Bulls desperatley lack. But I think they should still go after Dalembert as they are probably the worst shot blocking team in the league, hell guys like Ratliff and Amare Stoudemire average more blocks alone then the whole Bulls team.
  17. It's Sandy Alomar Sr. not Sandy Alomar Jr.
  18. From the Trib., I sense something going down soon;
  19. BWAHAHAHA, I'm going to hold you to that Dan. Unless the Bulls can sign a swingman like Redd or Allen or get a big man that can actually PRODUCE, I can't see that happening.

    JFK Reloaded

    I heard the full game costs about $13 to download I think, at least that's what they said on the the news down here.
  21. That's insane for a catcher who only hit .246 away from Fenway Park this season. I sense an Pudge type of wait for him, if Bora$$ is going to continue with those deamnds.
  22. That throws the Red Sox's contingency plans for a catcher into a snag. They've only offered Varitek a 4 year deal probably about $8 milllion a season I'd guess, but Bora$$ won't move from a 5 year $10 million deal.
  23. Finley wants a relatively expensive multi-year deal. Let's look at the 3 teams on the West Coast. Los Angeles - They already have Milton Bradley in center, although if they attempt to trade him they could possibly try to resign him. But I think they want to fill other needs first such as catcher and a first baseman. San Diego - They merely wanted Finley as a 2 month rental for the 2004 season, heading into the playoffs. Now their main focus is resigning David Wells, and they already have Jay Payton in center field. If they could trade Ryan Klesko, which is very unlikely, then they'd become more interested in Finley no doubt, as Payton could move across. San Francisco - The favorite of all the 3 west coast teams in my opinion. Brian Sabean is filling the team with veterans, hoping to make one last run at the World Series with Bonds still around. If Finley wants a multiyear deal, he'll probably get one from the Giants, as seen with the deal they gave 37 year old Omar Vizquel. Detroit have already shown that they will overpay for free agents this offseason with the signing of Troy Percival so I wouldn't count them out of the race yet. It depends though, does Finley want more money or to play on the West Coast for less and possibly a smaller duration of time.
