Hawk had a great moment during the three game set in which we swept Minnesota at the Cell. It was the first series with the Twinkies after Doug Mienkewitz comments concerning the all star game being moved to another stadium. Early in the game John Garland plunks Doug in the side with a fastball and is immediately (without any warnings being issued) thrown out of the game. Hawk was screaming, "THAT IS BS!!!!!!! HE CAN'T DO THAT." Once in awhile I hear that clip on the Score and it always brings a smile to my face.

What annoys me about Bush is his reasons for terrorists attacking America. He spews out this bulls*** that, "Terrorist hate our freedom." NO THEY DONT; they could care less about our personal freedoms. Our unrelenting support of Israel and our need to put soldiers on their holy land (Saudi Arabia) has infuriated every Muslim extremist. And for your other comment, the media has definately been guilty of over-exposing the terrorist threat to our nation. With their "color codes" and "uncorroborated threats" some citizens of this country are hesitant to even leave their house. I go to school in a large university in the West Loop of downtown Chicago. Take a train located two blocks from the Sears Tower that passes through some bad neighborhoods. Don't fear a terrorist attack only because its useless to structure your entire life as to avoid all risk. 3,000 Americans died on 9/11.....that leaves 279,997,000 that survived. More die each day from preventable occurences including lung cancer and drunk driving.

Thats unnecessary. I understand all the trouble that began on this topic, but closing this particular thread because of one ignorant comment is wrong. Odd how the standards around here show no limit except of the topic of homosexuality. We can talk about race, religion, and use profanity without any problems. (Explain why the word f.a.g. is blocked out while all explicit words remain.....) If people think SSI's comment is inappropriate then they should have the right to respond, as they have. About BMR; he never should of been banned. Clu and Roman,on the other hand, displayed attitudes warranting their removal from this site. And for SSI: now you know better then to voice your opinion on this topic. Once you piss people off (As you have with Steff) everyone begins to analyze your posts. What a load of s***. Two black ladies are suffering emotional, physical distress from a flight attendant saying "Eenie, meenie, minie moe; pick a seat, we gotta go." First, how in the world can saying that cause physical distress? Second, because the chorus wasn't directed towards the ladies AND didn't contain any racial slurrs this frivalous lawsuit should be thrown out. I agree with you SNB. My aunt is a extremely religious lady and always b****es about me not attending church.....ever. I always told my aunt that if God existed, how hard would it be for him to prove it to me? She always ties in some philosphical bulls*** such as, "he is all around you." Regardless of any evidence I still do believe in an afterlife. After my uncle died I became really depressed and was looking around the internet for articles trying to prove the existence of God. There were several interesting topics which were discussed. One was the pure fact that we are standing here right now.....at this point and this time. Think about the odds of Earths existence alone: atmospheric conditions (perfect amount of elements are balanced for our survival), promixity to the sun (not too far or too close) and how that the Earth existed long enough for man to evolve. The odds of life being the work of coincidence doesn't seem right. A quote from the movie "The Mothman Prophecies" comes to mind. During the movie it was believed that higher spirits were trying to contact humans about impending danger. One scene involved the author of a paranormal book being asked "Why don't they just tell us what they want" The author replied "You're more evolved then a cockroach. Have you ever tried explaining yourself to one." Think about the relationship to God.
