Speaking of Jessica, she was in town yesterday signing autographs at Chicago Ridge Mall. I friend of mine works in the mall so I purposefully stolled by so I can check out Simpson. Needless to say there were a s*** load of teen age girls and creepy looking dudes waiting in line to get autographs. But to get one you had to buy $50 worth of Tommy Hilfinger s***.

Recently was thought to of hooked up with Brian Urlacher; was even at Soldier Field during the Monday Night Football game against Green Bay. And what Cheat was referring to (in regards to a video) is she has a home made porn movie that is beginning to make its way around the internet.

Thats great.........but does the Illini dancing make a tear drop down the face of these proud indians. Is hundreds of years of white-man bullying all of the sudden brought back to the surface every step the mascot makes. How about they give a real Illini indian the opportunity to do the whole routine. Would that change anything.....

Im studying for a degree in criminal justice from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Have only 4 classes (Critical Reading/Thinking, Criminal Justice 101, Math 118, Serbian Culture) and thought I would have a ton of free time. .......I go to school 5 days a week and have to wake up at 5:45 every morning.

No offense to the author of this thread, but i wish this topic would DIE. Only because Im tired of coming onto soxtalk and seeing "Koch to the Mets" on the top of the site everyday. We have all said the same arguments repeatively....."were switching one bad player for another"......."Koch will rebound"......"Cedano brings speed to the basepaths/outfield". Of course there's not going to be alot of new topics to discuss at this point in the offseason.....just any thread with the name Koch in the title makes me :puke

STOP WHINING!!!!! Thats my opinion towards the people pushing to change the name (etc). Because a few native americans feel "insulted" by the Illini shouldn't mean this topic gets consideration. So what, the Illini mascot dances around with a full head of feathers......does U of I really want to get pushed around by a small group of babies who are trying to hold on to their dying traditions. I currently go to UIC....where we are known as the FLAMMMMEEEEESSS. Its not exactly a name Im proud of but Im not going to b**** about it. There are many that share my views but we realize that tradition resides over any excuse someone can make to change our school name. Im sure U of I has already made a poll of how students stand on the issue. I can guarantee that over 80% support keeping the Illini as the mascot. If Alumni....students.....media all believe that Illini should keep its name then it should stay; regardless of how politcally incorrect it is.

It deid seem odd how they just pulled 12 million out of the air for Colon.....and how none of the money offered to him was mentioned towards other FA's. A revamp of the team might happen quicker then expected. All I can ask, in the event of a fire sale, is that KW makes moves to fill our needs of starting pitching and speed.

I dont like the idea of Marte as closer. Its just a very different feel to move from setup to closer. Sure Marte did some of the work two seasons ago but that was when Sox were long out of the pennant race. Would you rather have him go to closer and fail or stay as setup and dominate. He could possibly do great as closer but IF he fails then you risk a Kochesque performance. Definately dont need Martes confidence blown too...... Gordon has pitched as closer for several different teams, and barring an injury would probably be best at that position. Alternating Wunsch, Sully, Koch, Marte (and whoever else) leading up to Gordon would give me confidence of our ability to shut a game down. And to undermind this post I just feel the Koch/Cedano trade is a bad idea. The rest he was given in 03' should leave no excuse from him not to perform at an Oakland level.

I know some of the 6,000 (or so) seats removed will be replaced by the home run porch being built next off season. Im sure those involved considered how much money would be lost from the rows in the upper deck, but they probably believe more will be made with the ballpark becoming more fan friendly. All these additions seem slated towards the average baseball fan; who are normally the ones who complain about the steepness of the upper deck. Most of us care more about the team itself then the appearance of the stadium. Although the additions dont hurt, I plan to go to the park to watch baseball and not stare at ivy.

I don't need proof to believe it was some member of WSI who made that review.

From what aboiz said in the chat room last night Beastly isnt banned but suspended for seven days. He'll be allowed back next Thur.

Begood, I dont know how the hell you missed it....its right next to "add reply" You just click, type, submit.

What points that, I must of missed it.

Few suggestions: How about on the main page there is a list that shows whos chatting (similar to the one we have for the main page). And when we register for the chat room there should be some feature that you cant access it unless you are already a member of soxtalk.

Sorry about that . Just wanted to see if anyone would say, "I know from the address its you flash tizzle" Wont happen again.

I have one question: Is that chatroom anonymous? Is there anyway you guys would know its me in there regardless of the name I type in.
