What exactly would be in lube to make it black market? How did he print off pictures from his hotel.........did he bring a color printer with him on the trip?
  2. Dont you think its dumb that he would come over and create a name not to contribute to this site....... but to complain about someone stealing a thread. What a fricken baby.
  3. That makes sense. If theres no new White Sox news then theres nothing to talk about at WSI. Just look at their Parking Lot Section; it gets only 10 new posts in the course of one day. Anybody know this santo=dorfs name at WSI....I'd like to know.
  4. Santo = dorf .....Im sure that could be made into a nice signature. I realize all the personal tradgedies he has overcome but it doesnt give him immunity from being disliked. His raspy voice is deafening and doesnt deserve to be anywhere near a radio booth. The Cubs know the guy lives to broadcast and he'll probably have the job until he is physically unable to speak. Figured since this thread isnt going anywhere I would add my thoughts on Santo.
  5. Did rebooting the site somehow reset all the people who were once banned?
  6. BMR could of pulled it off if he didnt just come in here drawing attention to himself. Who knows, Roman might be posting among us right now..... EDIT: Didnt see the post above explaining the IP situation.
  7. Dont know if this anewseason guy is bmr...but someone who might be is a new member named CRector. When I was snooping in the locate a member feature on the main page I saw this guy was looking at a thread that was devoted to WSI acting like Nazis. Now what made me believe it was BMR is that the thread was created so long ago (not as if a new member would just come upon it). BMR created the thread and argued throughout it. Though CRector has only made one post so I couldnt make any further assumptions on his identity.
  8. Hopefully I wont be infuriating Steff by bringing myself into another argument not involving me, but I just wanted to agree with her on that statement. If anyone has ever seen Duece Bigalo Male Gigalo (which many of you have...admit it) Rob Scheinder is a male prostitute and one of his clients is a girl with terrets. Of course she spouts off swears and insults nearly all of the time she's speaking. Many not familiar with the illness might believe everyone with terrets fits this foul mouth stereotype. I have first hand realized that is false. When im out near 95th and Kedzie I frequently see a lady with turetts who walks her dog. Besides talking to herself loudly I can assure everyone that she doesnt put together a sentence based souly on "s***, f***, ass." Although Im ignorant to the stages of terrets, how can someone with this condition hold a job at a theater, be good. Wouldnt it be difficult to communicate with customers?
  9. However it happen Beastly is now the surpeme poster at soxtalk with an unbelievable 40 posts per day average. Even Jason cant touch that
  10. Hate to admit it, but if that move is ever made the Cubs have the means to easily win 100 + games and almost guarantee a spot in the NLCS. s***, almost every area of their team will be rock solid. The crosstown series is looking out to be an ass whooping on our behalf. Not looking forward to it at all.
  11. Another favorite was an outtake of an earlier episode shown during the "137th spectacular" The scene was imitating one of the james bond movie where he is playing blackjack. Bond: Hit me dealer. Bond: (Looks at card) Joker? Your supposed to take those out of the deck. Homer: Sorry (hands him another one) Bond: (Again looks at card) Rules of playing draw or stud poker? Villian: What a pity Mr. Bond (goons remove Bond from the game) Bond: I dont lose......I never lose it was Homers fault. Atleast tell me your plans for world domination.
  12. How about todays 5:00 episode of the Simpsons (for those in Chicago) where Jay Sherman, the critic, comes in town to judge a film festival. There were some good moments Barney Gumbels video: Barney: My name is Barney Gumbel and I'm an alcoholic.... Lisa: Mr. Gumbel this is a girl scouts meeting Barney: Is it? Or is it that you girls cant admit you have a problem. (later in video) Barney: Dont cry for me.........Im already dead. Another episode in particular is the one where the lemon tree was stolen from springfield: Bart: Aw, were never going to find the tree. Its as useless as that lemon shaped rock over there........wait a minute....theres a lemon behind that rock.
  13. Off topic a little.... I was browsing the net looking for other white sox sites when I came upon this one. This guy Jim writes good articles and its worth a look reading some of them. In the event that a new site is created where articles are written I think we should consider him an option. http://www.geocities.com/bamad/soxnotes.html
  14. Anybody besides me interested in seeing Gothika? Despite reviews of imitating other horror movies it looks like a good thriller.

The game is supposed to be based around stealth.....though its hard to avoid killing someone. But yeah, its easily one of the most violent and twisted games I have ever played. Only a matter of time before some feminist group complains about it or a kid blames it for something he did and all the debates about "violent video games influencing our children" reemerge.

What the hell is this Beastly, your new signature? Link was in your posts. If you want to really make it your sig. you have to copy/pase the link as an image.

f***, I cant add any events to the calendar. I was about to make Beastlys job very interesting before this little setback.
  18. This is a good trade from the Cubs standpoint. They seem to be filling in all their pieces while the sox sit back and wait for resale bargains Besides shortstop and catcher they have solid players at every position.

Knew for awhile. Before Beastly it only had birthday dates listed.
  20. I rather not get involved in a maze of circular logic devoted to whether begoods apology was warranted. Of course it wasnt.......I wasnt offended by his misunderstanding. If anything it was Beastly who somehow read the mysterious message andd begood (without reading back in the thread) just built on the post believing I said the "fanny thread was spam." If he actually felt regret for accusing me then I commend him for it. Not because it makes me feel superior or any s*** like that but it just proves hes willing to acknowledge mistakes; even though we both know he didnt need to.
  21. I can restate something I said earlier now that I realized I was wrong. Many people in a position to guide your future probably wouldnt agree with my "approach" to finding a job or surviving college. Definately not something I would tell someone entering high school or attempting to enter law school (in jasons case). For me this approach works but really would be disasterous for most who aren't slackers or trying to find the easy way in life; like myself. Jason, if you work your ass off and accomplish the goals you set forth then you have more the reason to feel good about yourself. I dont feel like this, but I suppose some others might feel cheated if they went to college and didnt put forth full effort. I can assure you of one thing......you become a good lawyer and the 100K, $70 an hour pay will make all the years of studying worthwhile.
  22. How are these two different? Besides leaving out beastly the message was still the same in both...find a post that said "The fanny thread is spam" Original post: -"Where do you and beastly get the idea I think the fanny thread is spam? Go back on this thread and tell me where I said that." Summarized comment of original post. -"Find where I said the fanny thread was spam" Dont know how long you'll continue your baseless arguement when the proof is right in front of you.
  23. Steff........your making a huge deal out of this. I understood Begoods apology as he comprehended my question. Your looking too much into what I said when the message is plain and clear: "Find where I said the fanny thread was spam" Thats it...nothing else beyond that.
  24. Im in Liberal Arts and Sciences studying for a Law Enforcement Degree. My plan is to finish 4 years with a Bachelors then find a job as a cop. Without the degree I could of recieved a job as a police officer but with a BS I'm guaranteed a position. After a couple years I then apply for a job in a federal agency. Not necessarily FBI....which is tough to enter and has the means to relocate you. In a way Im creating a loophole by offsetting my career job. Instead of applying for an agency right out of college I wait till I have police experience and references.....which mean more to the real world then an A in philosophy. Jason, dont listen to these people that tell you about needing perfect grades to enter law school. If you were concerned about grades I would recommend becoming an intern for a law firm. When your applying for law school and have the references of accredited lawyers it really means alot. Connections mean more in life then hard work ever will. Anyways.....how many lawyers are there in the US? Look at your phone book if you really need proof. Its not as hard as you believe to enter law school and become a lawyer, the trouble is finding work. Sorry if I seemed to go off on a rant.
  25. You might be the one doing all the shopping Your boyfriends probably broke from spending all his bones on a ring. I read healthy doses of Maxim magazine and one issue in particular said that engagment around the holidays is a bad idea because of the possibility of a ring....and gifts. Puts an immense strain on your wallet. Just dont expect anything outside of a dollar store .
