4/9 Games
@Y2Jimmy0 what do you think of Yolbert now? I think everybody was pretty down on his hit tool when he was signed. He hit really well in AA and AFL recently.

Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)
So until we have the data, we just definitively say that a guy sucking is a result of long covid? Just about every basketball player got covid. Why aren't we seeing long covid impacts with them? You said 10-30%. You'd think we'd be seeing major impacts.

"These symptoms can persist for months, decreasing the quality of life of numerous individuals." "COVID-19 has demonstrated to affect a multi-variety of organs, including the musculoskeletal system, causing symptoms such as fatigue, arthralgia, myalgia and muscle weakness, which can persist during weeks or months after the end of the infection" So where does it say that it can persist for years?

Do you have any studies showing that covid reduces people's strength long term to this extent?

Nobody can really prove this to be true. I believe that covid can have long term effects, but zapping his power? Maybe he's just a great player that benefited from juiced balls, instead of an MVP caliber player.

I've seen about enough Josh Harrison already. He's going to be added to the long list of "cheap" FA signees that end up being a complete waste of money. Burger looks like a dude that can hit. Plus, he made that slick play at 2B recently. I can't find the video. It's out there though. Either Burger to 2B or Yoan to 2B.

TLR 2022 Thread
Don't worry, Balta already added today's game to his annual "list of games lost by TLR".

What does Windsor have that's being alluded to?
-
No game thread yet?
What the hell is going on? It's already opening day, on a season with high expectations, and there is no game thread yet on opening day itself? Usually this one is made way ahead of time. The disappointing offseason really killed the excitement for a lot of fans.

Austin Meadows traded to the Tigers
Lol, Bernstein definitely seems like somebody Jack would listen to. Boers and Bernstein used to be appointment radio, imo. It all went downhill starting around the Penn State scandal era. Bernstein and Goff was probably his lowest point. That show just sucked. He used to be the best host in Chicago, without question. How the mighty have fallen.

4/5- Sox/Padres, 2:10 central
I wonder if Moncada would benefit from losing some muscle mass? He's bulky as hell. It looks good, but who knows if it is conducive to playing. He's always tweaking something in his legs. @ptatc is anything I said here accurate, or just speculative broscience?
