  1. Does your buddy post on this forum??
  2. "We've put together this chart identifying high risk, medium risk and low risk positions as it relates to your hip flexor injury"
  3. Due to my line of work, I initially read "POTW" as Publically Owned Treatment Works, aka a sewage treatment plant
  4. The highest chance of precipitation is 15% at Midway during game time. Am I missing something? Looks fine unless that is way off.
  5. I clearly wrote in the original post that the ratings are based on a singal season. I never said to compare that to his career Clutch. Many people here have questioned Jose's ability to perform in high leverage situations. It's "not predictive" according to you, but this sure as hell confirms what some of us have been saying. Tbh, what worries me more than this stat is if the weather is too cold in the playoffs. Jose is a notorious warm weather hitter.
  6. Maybe it's purely coincidence, but Yermin has been slumping since the homerun incident. Maybe the manager publically calling out his playstyle and putting him in the spotlight for a week wasn't the best idea.
  7. He needs to make some adjustments, and quick. Great bat control, but he can't lay off anything lately.
  8. People would rather use their gut than statistics when it comes to the golden boy
  9. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/jose-abreu/15676/stats#win-probability Per Fangraphs clutch stat, Jose is -2.11 over his career. The stat measures how good a player is in high leverage situations. See below for more on the stat. https://library.fangraphs.com/misc/clutch/ Over an entire season, -2.0 would be "Awful", while +2.0 would be "Great". I've always said it, but Jose crumbles under pressure and in the cold. Is anybody else concerned about him in the playoffs when it will certainly be colder?
  10. What happens to Jose in October when it gets cold again??
  11. Have to seen Hendriks on the mound? We have no room to talk.
  12. Jose is going to crumble in the playoffs. The weather will be colder and the pressure will be on.
  13. He's so incredibly unclutch. Just crumbles under pressure. ZERO reason to swing there.
  14. I was out of town - how did they punt game 2 of the DH?
  15. What about the people bitching and moaning about the bitching and moaning about the bitching and moaning?
  16. Welp, the other team is up 2 runs. I'm turning off the ballgame and never watching the White Sox ever again.
  17. Mercedes will still be mashing. The guy is a natural hitter.
  18. This is actually awesome to hear. Even if it is just random people across the US that are becoming Sox fans due to the exciting team, you love to see it.
  19. I did not know about this, but it is great news. I've been pining for that OF combination all year.
