  1. I didn't say anything about steroids here. I just made an observation. You came to that conclusion yourself.

All I know is this is fucking hysterical, and if you disagree you need to get your sense of humor examined.
  3. RBIs greg? Do you also piss in a chamber pot and bloodlet when you are sick? Get with the times bro. RBIs are worthless. I would lead the league in RBIs if I had Tim Anderson ahead of me in the order.
  4. His resurgence and production at his age is something you would see in the 90s MLB. Crazy.

The dreaded triple entente consisting of Harris, Pelosi, and AOC. greg is the GOAT. If there was a Soxtalk Mount Rushmore, greg has to be on there, right?
  6. Who the hell ever thought what WSD said was gospel? I don't know anybody that did. Stone is a special baseball mind and what he says often goes hand in hand with what goes on with the team. Equating WSD with Steve Stone's at any level is boneheaded. WSD can't even carry Stone's jock strap.

There's a lot wrong with this, but regarding the "strong and viable military". The military budget is typically bloated and rises no matter who is president. Both sides take money from defense contractors. Do people really think the longtime establishment democrat will totally destroy the military? That's just insane. I'm somebody who this is it is ridiculously bloated and should be cut, But that won't happen. The defense budget will continue to be massive no matter who wins this election. I'm sorry man, but this is just so cheesy. It sounds like something that would be read on Rush Limbaugh's show. You need to be drinking some strong kool aid to honestly think that applies to Trump (or any other candidate).

Renaming "French Fries" too "Freedom Fries". Never forget.

George W Bush started a meaningless war against the wrong enemy that resulted in the loss of many lives, a shit ton of money and helped created ISIS and further instability in the Middle East. Sorry, but Trump is not GWB levels of bad yet.
  10. We can dream fathom... Would you give up Cease in a Nimmo trade? I'd strongly consider it, but Nimmo's injury history makes me nervous.
  11. Nimmo is still my dream candidate for RF, but doubtful the Mets trade him. Bauer would obviously be great, but I would settle with Braun Stroman
  12. Sounds like he is a fan of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, which is a red flag to say the least
  13. I'm sure this got posted... But I'll do it anyway. https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/vacuum-tony-la-russa-loves-arizonas-sb-1070/ "In 2010, Arizona governor Jan Brewer signed a law that required police officers to investigate the immigration status of anyone they interact with “where reasonable suspicion exists that the person is an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States.” It also restricted local governments from enforcing federal immigration law to anything less than its fullest extent. When put into action, that law, SB 1070, effectively gave police the power to stop anyone who looked Latin American and demand to see their papers. This law was so unpopular nationally that it sparked threats of an economic boycott of Arizona, including from several MLB players and then–White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, who said they wouldn’t attend the 2011 All-Star Game if it were held in Phoenix. La Russa publicly endorsed the law. Later in 2010, La Russa appeared at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, where he presented Pujols with an award."
  14. Is Jerry really going to open the checkbook even more because Hahn "agreed" to make La Russa the manager? We all have to hope. Hahn should offer to bring in Gar Forman for an upper management roll. That may earn an extra 5m in payroll courtesy of Mr. Reinsdorf.
  15. A man's man. RIP to a dying breed.
  16. This. Not only is she the dumbest "sports journalist" in the country, but she is also a vile human being that made a career out of playing the victim. She also has a horrendous grasp of the English language. I have no idea how she became a lawyer or "journalist".
  17. Reinsdorf "opening the checkbook" by allowing the addition of aging, lower cost players. This always works out great.
  18. I wouldn't say my profile picture represents my true beliefs~ the forum just needed some yin to it's yang.
  19. It has nothing to do with your political views. You like it because it makes a group of people mad, despite acknowledging that it is a bad hire. I'm not even a "liberal". Your stance is just asinine.
  20. Good thing La Russa never led a team full of cheaters
  21. This is the same owner that banned headbands on the bulls team ya know.
  22. He gone! Hallelujah!
  23. Why do we continue to post this guys tweets? He's a proven fraud.
  24. Breaking news: Tony LaRussa adds Victor Conte to White Sox training staff and hires Sheriff Joe Arpaio as bench coach.
