Fantasy Baseball
Going into my 6th year in my dynasty league. We do an auction draft where the draft and keepers are very valuable. We cannot add/drop any player during the season except a three round mid season draft where we take the best free agents. This is my team right now and I have $69 (#nice) to play with in the next draft. C 1B Freddie Freeman 2B SS Trevor Story and Tim Anderson 3B Yoan Moncada OF Bryce Harper OF Kris Bryant OF Victor Robles UTIL Austin Meadows SP Jack Flaherty SP Lucas Giolito SP Sonny Gray SP Eduardo Rodriguez SP Dallas Kuechel SP Michael Fulmer (Acquired as part of a bigger trade with bad contracts last season) So I need a C, 2B, and 2 RPs and a bench. Thoughts?

Who knows what happened with Jones. That kid has only hurt his college career. Illinois have over signed by one next season. Wouldn't be shocked if Jones is gone after the year.

I'm fine with Griffin coming off the bench still because he provides a spark. Him and Feliz are those two guys that can do that from the bench and relish in those roles right now.

Sox Officially Sign Edwin Encarnacion (1YR/$12M), Kodi Medeiros DFA
I don't see Medeiros getting DFA'd. When he went to the pen, he was pretty good. Zavala, Ruiz, Covey, Fulmer I see all go before him. My prediction is Zavala and Ruiz will be DFA'd for Encarnacion and Cishek.

Lol. I kind of hope the Bulls get the 8th seed and then get swept just to see how far they still really are. It would be comical because the Bulls are the definition of basketball hell.

The Joker-Nylander trade is an absolute disaster. Tony knows I'm a pretty optimistic Hawks fan and this was beyond awful. Injuries have hurt this team but in all honesty, if the Hawks even had average goaltending, they would be with Detroit at the bottom of the league. It is that bad.

Would you extend Nick Madrigal? For how much?
If he were to sign an extension, I would guess it would be like Kingery or White's contract extensions from Mariners and Phillies.

Cuban Phenom defecting Oscar Colas
I believe he had/has a very serious back injury.

Steve Stone: more bullpen help is coming
FA Options: Craig Stammen, Daniel Hudson, Colin McHugh, Tony Cingrani, Steve Cishek, Will Harris, Nate Jones (I bet Sox sign him to MILB deal), Arodys Vizcaino Trade Options: Keone Kela, Michael Givens, Ian Kennedy, Ken Giles, Bryan Shaw, Jarlin Garcia,

Steve Stone: more bullpen help is coming
I'm with you Fathom. I can see why Collins might not have a fit on the roster, but I still want him DHing against RHP even with Encarnacion. For Kela, I would not give up Collins. I'd give up an A ball player. I don't think Kela would require much in trade.

Sox still looking at Puig?
They're at 87 million before arbitration. Probably around 117 after it. Puig and a reliever will get you to 130-135
-
Sox still looking at Puig?
They'll have plenty of money and options if they sign Puig first. There is no issue here.

Sox still looking at Puig?
Would love to see the articles on this accusation

Sox still looking at Puig?
I enjoy his antics too. Between him and Anderson, teams would hate us haha.

Sox still looking at Puig?
I don't think this is true because he did change his stance in the 2nd half of last season. There was a video on MLBN with it too. He slugged 541 I believe in the 2nd half by quieting his hands, less movement in his stance.

Remaining Wish List
One or two of Stammen/McHugh/Harris/Hudson and I'll be more than happy. Give me Puig too just because I want all the Cubans

Free Agent relief pitcher ideas besides Betances
I want Craig Stammen and Colin McHugh

Edwin Encarnacion
Hit the nail right on the head, fathom. Keep stacking the roster and worry about the rest later. When we had Sale, Q, Eaton, we had superstars, but never the depth. Right now, we have superstars in the making with so much more depth. Let's keep adding and diminish the depth. Plus, I hate trading for relievers and that's what we really need outside of a platoon partner with Mazara.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I would give Castellanos Keuchel's contract. You can never have enough good players.

Edwin Encarnacion
Couldn't have said it better. Sox struggled hitting HRs last year. EE helps that, along with Collins against righties. There is no risk here. Collins will still get his ABs.

J.A. Happ
Happ sucks. Would rather have Price

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
What would you guys trade for just David Price and cash?
