Steve Stone: more bullpen help is coming
I'm with you Fathom. I can see why Collins might not have a fit on the roster, but I still want him DHing against RHP even with Encarnacion. For Kela, I would not give up Collins. I'd give up an A ball player. I don't think Kela would require much in trade.

Sox still looking at Puig?
They're at 87 million before arbitration. Probably around 117 after it. Puig and a reliever will get you to 130-135

Sox still looking at Puig?
They'll have plenty of money and options if they sign Puig first. There is no issue here.

Sox still looking at Puig?
Would love to see the articles on this accusation

Sox still looking at Puig?
I enjoy his antics too. Between him and Anderson, teams would hate us haha.

Sox still looking at Puig?
I don't think this is true because he did change his stance in the 2nd half of last season. There was a video on MLBN with it too. He slugged 541 I believe in the 2nd half by quieting his hands, less movement in his stance.

Remaining Wish List
One or two of Stammen/McHugh/Harris/Hudson and I'll be more than happy. Give me Puig too just because I want all the Cubans

Free Agent relief pitcher ideas besides Betances
I want Craig Stammen and Colin McHugh

Edwin Encarnacion
Hit the nail right on the head, fathom. Keep stacking the roster and worry about the rest later. When we had Sale, Q, Eaton, we had superstars, but never the depth. Right now, we have superstars in the making with so much more depth. Let's keep adding and diminish the depth. Plus, I hate trading for relievers and that's what we really need outside of a platoon partner with Mazara.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I would give Castellanos Keuchel's contract. You can never have enough good players.
-
Edwin Encarnacion
Couldn't have said it better. Sox struggled hitting HRs last year. EE helps that, along with Collins against righties. There is no risk here. Collins will still get his ABs.

J.A. Happ
Happ sucks. Would rather have Price

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
What would you guys trade for just David Price and cash?

Time to rebuild the rebuild?
Best post in this thread. Bennett and his boys riling up SoxTalk with a moronic idea because they have nothing else to do.
-
Time to rebuild the rebuild?
Again, it's December 13th. Trade for David Price and then sign a 1 year guy. Not that hard. Let's see if they can make it happen.

Time to rebuild the rebuild?
It's fucking December 13th. My god, some of you people are miserable.

Official NHL COVID season thread
I do too. Basically called out the forwards for not hustling back on offense or in the wrong spots creating odd man rushes. Hawks don't deserve Kane or Lehner.

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
Outside of injury, Price still has been very good. 135, 123, and 113 ERA+ and very respectable FIPs in the AL. I wouldn't mind him at all especially when Kuechel and Ryu might make 18-20 million per year. If we can get Price and 20-25 million per year, sign me up. I think if the Sox do trade for him, it will be just for him. If they add a kicker like Benintendi, I think Sox might have to part with a decent prospect, but not like Vaughn or Madrigal even though they'll probably ask for them.

Agree with this and in all honestly, Illinois should be 9-1

Nomar Mazara Speculation
Lol. What's good about an 811 OPS in high A? Laz Rivera did that. Should we have him up this season too? Some of you are freaking out and it's comical. This is a good upgrade. Better than the shit we've put out the last two years.

Nomar Mazara Speculation
I'd 100% give up Walker for Mazara. We know Mazara can mash against righties at the ML level. We don't know what Walker is and they are very similar in age.

Nomar Mazara Speculation
Guys, Mazara had an OPS of 848 against righties. He mashes them. As long as the return is ok, I'm good with this. If it's Steele Walker, see ya bro.
