  1. Yeah I said that exact thing earlier. He’s got 2 weeks to figure it out.
  2. See here they go out of their way to move Pollock to LF. Eloy isn’t getting LF back.
  3. Hope someone makes a thread about this tomorrow so I don’t forget to listen
  4. Credit where credit is due: Harrison has elevated himself to a point where he’s nowhere near the Sox biggest concern atm.
  5. Yeah; it’s fair especially with McGuire sitting last night too. Result didn’t make it any better!
  6. Seby has been decent with the bat, and def prefers lefties.
  7. Nice job by Johnny battling back after the three homers
  8. Imagine having those 2 dudes and having the same record as us.
  9. Right handed hitters are hitting like .180 against him.
  10. Can’t you just covid IL guys and get them off early too if they’re sick but never teat positive? Makes it even more strange. Especially with an open 40 man spot (Mendick), even tho it’s eventually going to Eloy.
  11. Shrug; I am well aware of how options work. Sox can send Sosa back and forth between the minors and majors for 2.5 more seasons. Their hands are not tied until 2025. If he's still looking at getting optioned in 2025 after 2.5 seasons in AAA, he isn't worth all the hand wringing. I get the potential downside risk, but its fairly remote. If he was better prospect heading into 22, he'd have been added to the 40 man last December. Like I said, calling him up for 5 days was a curious decision. To me it reeks of the a lack of communication between the FO and TLR. But this downside risk you laid out isn't really all that likely to come to fruition. I too would have just opted for a waiver wire pick, or Dee Gordon as you've pointed out, but I just don't think this is something worth skewering the organization over. There is plenty of other things to do that about.
