Record of opponents for remaining schedule is .470. 3 with Houston, 3 with SD, 3 with San Fran and 3 with LAAAAAAA. 16 with the Twins and 14 with the Guardians. The rest is pretty easy....especially post ASG. Although we've seen not all easy is alike.

Correct. It’s going to be 20 days tho. He was awful last week. I guess it’s possible they bring him up during the next homestand if he has a better week this week.

3B, C, and DH. Moncada will be back tomorrow. I would guess Grandal will be back at start of next homestand, week from today. Haven't heard much on Hendriks others than July 1 target, which is this weekend. Seems optimistic. Haen't heard anything on Bummer. Eloy is 6 days into a 20 day rehab. I would guess he plays another 2 weeks in Charlotte and returns July 11, assuming no further setbacks.

Won't be the last time either, I can assure you of that.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but whats the deal with Jonathan Stiever? I know he had lat surgery of some kind, but is he out for the season?

It’s the differential the other poster noted. You can’t win games at the cell getting outhomered by your opposition especially when over half your players are slow AF are require multiples hits to score.

Yeah that’s a fair take at this point. I’m not at the apathy stage tho my wife I’m sure is hoping it hits soon.

Even if they go 1-6 they’re not blowing it up. Their best realistic assets to trade in Gio and Lynn aren’t exactly at peak value. The other guys with real value aren’t getting traded. This next week is tough. Can’t realistically expect to do better than 3-3. It’s why you needed to at least split with the O’s. Just a brutal few days .

It could have tho. Sox have lost at least a dozen very winnable games to date largely due to poor in game management. Even if they win just half of those, they’re in first place. 1/3, they’re 1.5 GB. The injuries have been brutal and difficult to overcome, but they’re just exacerbated by a manager that presses all the wrong buttons.

The O’w have hungry young players that play hard, good team defense, a good bullpen and competent management. The Sox are injured, full of banged up vets coasting, bad defense, bad bullpen and Krusty the clown managing.

Me too man. Really bummed out last couple days. Right when it seemed like we were poised to get over .500 and get back into the central race, the Sox take a giant dump on our hopes. Fandom hurts sometimes, and now is one of those times.

I would hope so. He’s the only in house person I would actually have excitement about. Cairo is just a TLR yes man. I’m not a huge McEwing guy, but he’d be my 2nd choice for internal interim. But Jirechele is the guy.

Just restarted rehab this week. Probably at least 10-14 days out assuming no further setbacks.

While I agree that this team hasn’t earned major deadline additions, the Sox have like 2 prospects of note. The future is now.
