Fantastic work on the new banner!

Have there really been no rumblings from within on how serious this injury is? I am braced for a September return, but fuckina hearing a 3-5 week timeframe would be such a morale boost personally, and hopefully for the boys as well. Just praying for some good news.

In other news, the Twins are starting to falter and can hardly field a team right now, and they go to Toronto after us. Word is “multiple” prominent twins won’t be making that trip. Schedule starts to get tough for the Twinkies after this Detroit series - could definitely see this being their high water mark. So for anyone searching for a positive, that’s all I got.

Not a single person person is calling him a savior. People are saying we should use the free roster spot youre for some bizarre reason saying they don’t need, to give him a shot for the series. That’s it. We’ve had awful production out of 2B all season and Leury is probably our main SS now. There’s no harm in giving Yolbert some at bats.

Guys that have to go on restricted list because they cannot get into Canada can be (but don’t have to be) replaced by guys not on 40 man just for that series. Options also do not count. Just provides teams a little more flexibility for roster moves that each of them need to make to field a full team in Canada.

lol no it doesn’t. In fact it says quite the opposite. We know Mendick and Harrison suck and Leury is best used a utility man that doesn’t play everyday. Yolbert may not be an improvement on the options already on the roster, but it certainly wouldn’t take much for him to be. Harrison and Leury have been awful. in any event, there is no good reason to not bring 26 guys to Toronto. Even just a mop up man to save the bullpen in a blowout if need be.

Burr is hurt. And I’d much rather see Yolbert than any of those three.

I understand they’re not technically playing a man short. They would still be dumb to not use the rules to their advantage and get an extra body up. Perfect excuse to see Yolbert for a series without even having to add him to 40 man. I would be astonished if they didn’t use the extra spot; would make no sense.

I’m terrified to find out the answer to that.

Why only 1 corresponding move? Would think there would be 2 with both Cease and Graveman hitting the restricted list and just Crick coming up. Also have the TA IL move and hopefully Robert return. Hoping for Yolbert.

Trading Moncada makes pretty much no sense. Sure he’s been awful in a very SSS in 22, but we need more players like Moncada, not less.

While this thing still had plenty of a chance as success without Machado or Harper, missing on those guys was a real damper to what could have been a much swifter rise to an elite team. Instead, it looks like stalling out before it really got started is at least a legit possibility.

Those are his AA numbers. He’s cooled off last week or two in AAA but overall numbers still strong.

I dont think Harrison is getting DFA anytime soon with the TA injury. Leury is gonna play alot of SS. Even if they do give Yolbert a shot, they’re gonna keep Harrison on the roster at this point. Also Romy is hurt.

Nope. Maybe if they do a major tailspin I could see some minor subtractions. But I’d be shocked to see them trade Giolito even if they’re were 12+ GB in July.

Just such a kick to the nuts. Really hoping it’s not as bad as it looked. I’m prepared to be without Tim until late in the season.

I’d be surprised to see Yolbert heading to Toronto purely because he’s playing tonight and in lineup.

I would be ecstatic if he’s playing in a month.
