  1. 43 games; 43 different lineups. Today will be no different. Tony is the smartest guy in the room, according to him.
  2. His option isn't going to vest. Its a non issue already. Even if he takes his spot in the rotation the rest of the season for 25 more starts and averaging 5 IP (he won't), thats 155 IP total. But there is no way he's making 25 more starts, nor averaging 5 IP per. That said, he absolutely should not be making starts for the White Sox any longer. Its a joke at this point. VV is a better option until Lynn returns.
  3. I'd be pleasantly surprise if he pitches again before late June.
  4. Seems like a rinse, repeat situation for most Sox games so far this season.
  5. I don't think that is going too far out on a limb on Eloy. He's very likely to get hurt again regardless. I think they've been pretty cautious with Lance, and I suspect he'll be fine. Just hoping we get a fresh Lance ready to dice for 3.5 months.
  6. Well that is 3 too many more Kuechel starts. But yes, certainly hope that is the case.
  7. Not really sure why we’re still running Dallas out there. The decision was obviously made before the series and cemented when VV came in for relief on Tuesday. But woof - we gotta stop punting games with Keuchel on the mound.
  8. Maybe the manager doesn’t have them prepared to play….
  9. Take that W and run. Go get em tomorrow.
  10. Burger certainly doesn’t make that play. And some fire from Yoan
  11. Very clearly his hamstring.
  12. TBF, any positive result regarding the Sox is the complete opposite of what you thought would happen.
  13. When was this mentioned? In studio?
  14. And yet, they have a worse record than us.
  15. 15 years too late. Father Time catches up to everyone.
  16. At this point I gotta agree, especially once Eloy returns. DH should be Eloys, period.
  17. Yupppp. Would love to see it happen for a sustained run. But not counting on it.
  18. Frankly Grandal isn't exactly a positive at the moment. I'd much rather see Perez than McGuire, but that isn't happening until one of them gets hurt.
  19. Just for funsies, I wonder what the "everyday" lineup will look like once we get them both back. I doubt we'll actually see any lineup "everyday" as I believe Old Man River has used 42 different lineups 42 games in. TA SS, Moncada 3B, Robert CF, Abreu 1B, Eloy DH, Vaughn RF, Grandal C, Pollock LF, Leury/Harrison 2B is probably how I would line em up. So fucking right handed heavy, but yeah. That's what we got.
  20. Twins finally lose. Lets get back under 5 GB tonight.
  21. Playing in the central will do that. Their remaining schedule is significantly harder than their schedule to date.
  22. Twins have played 8 games against teams above .500. They are 2-6 in those games. They 25-10 against teams .500 or worse. After this 14 game stretch against KC and Detroit (still 10 more to go!!) they will have played 8 of 54 games against teams over .500 (11 if Sox make it over .500 by then). That is 15% of their schedule against teams currently projected in the playoffs. Twins has certainly fattened up against bad teams. We'll see if they can continue winning once the schedule turns to June and they have to play good teams again.
  23. Are you ready to move on tho, Caulfield?
  24. It didn't exactly take rocket scientist to look at this roster and see its full of right handed hitting sluggers than can't hit RHP better than league average, a clear lack of walks and OBP, and defensive question marks all over the field.
