  1. I don’t think we’d be seeing Pollock in LF if the plan was to reinsert Eloy there upon his return.
  2. He’s looked fine out there recently. He had a rough couple weeks early but he’s been fine, and was last year too in a much larger sample.
  3. That’s fair. I don’t really either. But it’s definitely not over.
  4. I’d happily continue the Sousa experiment if the TLR experiment ended!
  5. Who do you pitch there? Sox pen sucks without Graveman and Kelly.
  6. Probably not. Twins are already faltering. But certainly is if Sox don’t start playing better very soon.
  7. You a betting man? I’d happily take a wager that Guardians don’t finish top 2.
  8. Definitely had the two guys you wanted up right there. Just so rarely have we gotten the big hit we need this season.
  9. He’s probably being optimistic. But it’s really good news regardless.
  10. TLR said Moncada could have played today but "didn't want to run the risk of playing today and him being stiff tomorrow" Also said he's happy to have Robert back, legs are good, question is stamina and "we'll see how he is tomorrow".
  11. TA said he's feeling no discomfort.
  12. He's not fully healthy. He has a calf issue that is bugging him. They clearly thought it was a day-to-day thing or he'd have been placed on the IL last Thursday, but its obviously lingering.
  13. Few weeks? Try 2.5 months. Cesar Hernandez was so fucking bad for the White Sox. He gave them no choice but to cut ties. Brining him back would have been awful. Of course, they decided to sign someone else who also sucks balls. But Cesar Hernandez and his lifeless style of play is the last thing the Sox need. IDGAF what his SSS playing for an awful 18-33 team says. Dude sucks and had to go. Every game he played for the Sox he looked miserable on the field, and as a teammate.
  14. Well, he's never appeared in the big leagues before so yeah, I'd say his 1.60 WHIP in the big leagues is more valid than what he did in the low levels of the Sox minor league system. Konnor Pilkington is just a guy. Fairly confident of that. But go ahead and gnash your teeth and wring your hands about him if you'd like.
  15. Pollock LF, Vaughn RF, Abreu 1B, Robert DH, Burger 3B, Leury 2B, Engel CF, McGuire C, Mendick SS I would flip Engel and Pollock and then move Leury to 7th and Pollock to 6th, but otherwise I can work with this.
  16. Sure seems like every ball hit in the air to the OF at home gets caught, and we are getting outhomered in Chicago.
  17. The guy with a 1.60 WHIP in the big leagues and minors this year? Pilkington is a dime a dozen AAAA pitcher. Could he become a backend rotation option or decent mlb middle reliever for Cleveland? Sure. But he's no one to get worked up about, even if that trade was far from ideal everyway you slice it.
  18. Can he hit from the left side?
  19. I think this team has much, much, much bigger needs than another really good SP.
  20. And Ron calling Jose cooked, only for Jose to go on a tear.
  21. A tradition unlike any other.
