May 10, 20223 yr If I'm Kopech, I'm probably wanting to take a bat to the pen's kneecaps right now. Just fucking infuriating.
May 10, 20223 yr Juan Disgusto and Salome Barojas probably can't even stand watching this Sox team game in and game out. It's too infuriating.
June 8, 20223 yr Might want to shift the contract extension talks from Cease to Kopech at this point...
June 8, 20223 yr But, the Sox lost the Chris Sale trade, right???? I wouldn't trade prime Kopech for prime Sale, straight up. Even if their salaries were identical... And somehow, people think the Sox LOST that trade. Never mind this guy called Yoan Moncada. Lol @ Sox fans. Unreal idiots.

Before injury, Sale was pretty close to a surefire HoF candidate…that’s a pretty high bar. Higher than Buehrle and Konerko.

Looking like the former

June 8, 20223 yr It's something about the way the ball just jumps out of Kopech's hand, he just throws fire

Kopech has been amazing, but Sale did it for years. That being said, the Sox dumped Sale at the perfect time before his arm started falling off.

That being said, the Sox dumped Sale at the perfect time before his arm started falling off. The Red Sox also allowed Sale to push harder than the White Sox did. When he pitched against the White Sox in either ‘17 or ‘18 (I don’t remember which game it was) he actually threw his hardest recorded big league pitch since 2011 when he was being used as a reliever. He was also throwing his slider about twice as often in Boston as in Chicago.

And you're right, his motion looks relatively effortless compared to how the ball just explodes out of his hand.
