Kind of agree here, tho they should still suspend his ass for a few games. He’s a POS human. Well when the Sox legit only have 1 true lefty bat on the roster, not sure what you were expecting. The Sox only bats with a track record from the left side are switch hitters, and they're in this lineup.

This team isn't getting a top 2 seed. Fairly confident in that. That said, the 2nd half of the schedule is pretty damn friendly for the Sox. Hopefully we're a different team by then and damage can be done. For now though, I am much more worried about making the playoffs as opposed to playoff matchups.

For those wondering like I was, paternity leave is a max of three days. Otherwise making this move a couple days before Kopech was starting didn't make much sense.

You said his “peak” is 25 homers. He’s already comfortably beat that 150 games into his career while learning to hit mlb pitching. So it’s not his peak, you’re just being negative; per usual.

His per 162 average is 31 homers 152 games into his career. He has a career wRC+ is 131. He's already an elite hitter, and that includes large stretches where he looked absolutely helpless at hte plate. Robert can be frustrating to watch at times, but his peak is still best player in the game and he's still far from a finished product. As usual, get a grip on reality.
