  1. TA and all the regulars but perhaps Yoan need to be in there both games today. FFS, the Sox need to win games and have three off days the next week.
  2. Kind of agree here, tho they should still suspend his ass for a few games. He’s a POS human. But there’s no real proof it was a blatant racial remark as opposed to mocking TA for comparison himself to an all time great. That said, Sox could use something to fire them up. Not opposed to some more fireworks tomorrow.
  3. Genuinely surprised to see TLR roll with the same lineup.
  4. I’d be shocked if we get three games in 2 days without everyone starting a game. He’ll scrap todays best lineup of the season for tomorrow afternoon for sure. Man, open Friday night with nothing to do but watch the Sox on the couch. Brutal.
  5. They have a 6 man rotation atm and an off day monday. Literally zero reason to do a BP game or call up a SP.
  6. You really think they're going to skip Keuchel? They should, but I'd be surprised.
  7. I was dead serious. You’re absolutely correct.
  8. If I was playing the Sox I'd force doubleheaders too.
  9. So its not for benching Romy? (kidding)
  10. Well when the Sox legit only have 1 true lefty bat on the roster, not sure what you were expecting. The Sox only bats with a track record from the left side are switch hitters, and they're in this lineup.
  11. When is Jonathan Stiever expected back?
  12. This team isn't getting a top 2 seed. Fairly confident in that. That said, the 2nd half of the schedule is pretty damn friendly for the Sox. Hopefully we're a different team by then and damage can be done. For now though, I am much more worried about making the playoffs as opposed to playoff matchups.
  13. For those wondering like I was, paternity leave is a max of three days. Otherwise making this move a couple days before Kopech was starting didn't make much sense.
  14. I am not hopeful for this game, nor this series.
  15. Do the Sox not teach 1B how to stretch?
  16. Lol who could’ve seen that coming
  17. This is a spot you need to hit for Gavin.
  18. You said his “peak” is 25 homers. He’s already comfortably beat that 150 games into his career while learning to hit mlb pitching. So it’s not his peak, you’re just being negative; per usual.
  19. His per 162 average is 31 homers 152 games into his career. He has a career wRC+ is 131. He's already an elite hitter, and that includes large stretches where he looked absolutely helpless at hte plate. Robert can be frustrating to watch at times, but his peak is still best player in the game and he's still far from a finished product. As usual, get a grip on reality.
  20. Not sure what's up with Yoan. He's so much better than this.
  21. Yes. They’re nothing alike, really. But whatever. If Sox are 15 games under .500 come mid July, then we can talk a Giolito trade that still won’t happen.
  22. The Sox aren’t punting the next 2 seasons. It’s just not happening.
