The 2023 version of this team probably sucks, but firing Hahn solves nothing. Do we really want Hahn or another incompetent lackey overseeing another half-assed rebuild?

If JR were to fire Hahn, he would have to hire a replacement. That's the last thing JR wants to do. Hahn is his lawyer speak PR punching bag, why would he want to upset that balance?

Cease struggled mightily with his control, but battled well enough to give his team a chance despite the walks. Home plate Ump was complete trash and did the Sox no favors. TA might have had a valid beef but needs to keep his cool, even when the opposing pitcher wasn’t helping matters. All of these things can be true. Sox found a way to prevail which is ultimately all that matters.
