  1. TLR definitely thinks Leury & TA are equal talents doesnt he…
  2. Apathy is kind of our only option at this point
  3. Yoan leading off is a choice, but holy shit no one else in the lineup is a better option. Holy Hell. 2-5 best provide all of the offense today...
  4. Meanwhile, on Earth 1.0…
  5. If Soto were on the block… nah, don’t torture yourself, they just don’t have the expendable assets. There wouldn’t be enough left to put a legit team around him.

Bulls seem to be operating with the same self-imposed restraints as the last regime, so we honestly don't know. Bulls are a more competitive team that looks competent sometimes, but is hardly a contender. Same could probably be said about the Sox if they had hired anyone other than TLR.
  7. Sheets & Leury in the OF, Leury & Harrison both in the same lineup, the jokes just aren't funny any more...
  8. Is this core good enough? As is? No. I still believe that the talent can be salvaged with better coaching, but the sum of the parts still doesn't add up to a championship caliber team. And time is running short. They also can't stay on the field for long without injury. Even if JR stepped aside as chairman and an entirely new FO was put in place, I don't know how many of these guys I would want to keep. And that is no surefire answer either.
  9. As others have said, this is not out of the ordinary. Unfortunate for fringe guys, but that's the harsh reality. It only looks shady to the uninformed. And amidst a shitty season it gives fodder to pile on the shitty org, but from the outside looking in, the Sox did nothing wrong here.

TLR in the dugout vs in the front office, which is worse? I honestly don’t know.
  11. Shiiit, I would give him away for free AND pay his airfare.
  12. I would pay you $20 for it. Just to burn it in effigy.
  13. The whole franchise?
  14. The apathy will take over again soon enough.
  15. I don’t care if it’s a firing, a token promotion to a meaningless post to save face, or a resignation, but this washed up clown has to go.
  16. Surprised? No. Disgusted? Very.
  17. We all know the answer…
  18. Look what proper defensive positioning does.
  19. Bobble, when it was secured, when the foot left the bag, I didn’t see any of those as conclusive.
  20. Probably. He’s the scapegoat but they won’t do it too soon as to not draw any attention to their own failures.
  21. Hey look, TA pulled another grounder with RISP
  22. No closer than any other awful moment this season? IDK what it will take.
