  1. Dear Jerry, Go f*** Yourself. Signed White Sox fans
  2. IDK, maybe he should speak less? Or not at all? We'd all be better off either way.
  3. We are definitely in the Bad Place. Gimme that alternate timeline where TLR never happened and Hinch guides this team to multiple AL Central titles and many deep playoff runs…
  4. Seriously, just sell the fucking team already Jerry…
  5. Seriously though, Detroit has been red hot and just seems to find ways to win lately. I don't think the Sox are coming home without owning the all time loss record.
  6. Tonight is the night of nights!
  7. I'm never leaving T-Mobile because of free MLB.tv. I will watch 29 other teams and let my vpn go because why pay to watch such a shitty team live?
  8. Beautifully succinct summation of just how fucked this org is, and how hopeless the near future feels.
  9. Wouldn't well all. I wouldn't get my hopes up with Captain Panic at the helm...
  10. Emotional attachment that becomes part of your identity. I can't think of a single brand or product that I have the same emotional connection to and "sweat equity" investment in. I don't even think they are comparable.
  11. I wished he loved winning at baseball enough to do something that contributed to winning at baseball.
  12. That quote was alarming too. Ok, great, you took those guys to secure Soroka. But holy s%*# you didn't have to tender them contracts and expect them to start for your team.
  13. Airing out all of the dirty laundry is great, but it hardly matters when it doesn't bring about change.
  14. That's a good question. Maybe he's self aware enough not to want the job, or want to manage yet until he has more coaching experience? And he's just being a good soldier as interim? I just found the quote alarming, and it more or less confirms Grady is just there to follow orders from above.
  15. "The front office promoted first-year coach Grady Sizemore to interim manager, essentially taking on-the-field decisions out of the dugout and into the executive suite. Sizemore had expressed no desire to manage but was picked because players like him. "
  16. A rainout tonight would be oddly fitting.
  17. Player-Manager in waiting...
  18. Seems like he has been around forever but he is yet to crack 3 years of service time. Sadly we won't be rid of him any time soon...
  19. Ha! Well, perhaps that is giving him too much credit. The implied joke is that he's so dumb its nearly impossible *not* to find someone smarter than him.
  20. So we have established that Getz can identify baseball people that are smarter than he is. Awesome. But being smarter than Getz is such a low bar that it's hardly reason to be encouraged or excited by these hires.
