  1. Still waiting for the return to meet the steep range
  2. If it’s truly steep, I think we’ll all just be happy that it was.
  3. At least he’d be flippable for a good return.
  4. Heyman and Morosi have both confirmed. Gimme the names!
  5. GIVE US THE DETAILS YOU MONSTERS
  6. Multiple notable prospects ??
  7. Just came to post but had to make sure it wasn’t some fake version ?
  8. I'd be surprised if he doesn't.

Well s%*#. I still hate that DeJong will be the starting SS, and I doubt the offense carries over, but he's been far better with the bat than I thought.

I recall him hitting a homer the other day when he was DHing. The games I've seen him play he's been pretty brutal on both sides of the plate. Maybe the overall numbers say he's been better, IDK.

It would be SO White Sox to talk about improving the defense all winter only to award Sheets the starting RF job.

DeJong has been pretty awful this spring, but that won't stop them from keeping him around over a more deserving kid. We're damned to endure a season of washed up bad because Pedro needs a security blanket.
  13. Right. Me using most probably isn't totally accurate. I probably should have said come up through prep ranks as SS. Regardless, you can't have too many SS prospects even if you have a star SS in the bigs already. Guys that can play SS usually don't have issues finding another position if the bat plays.
  14. Like, don't most non 1B or C prospects start out as SS? If they are athletic enough to play SS, and the bat plays, finding a spot at another position isn't difficult.

The prospect game might be more interesting if we didn't have to suffer through a Marquee broadcast...
  16. Yeah, it sounds like they are shutting him down and trying the rest & rehab approach hoping to stave off surgery. Time to pony up Cashman.
  17. So f*** the police(rs)?
  18. The curious angle to this IMO is that we have three Boras clients at play here, and the two FA have been linked to clubs supposedly hot after Cease. Makes me wonder if Boras a driving force behind some of the rumored interest.
  19. Off-season elbow surgery.
  20. Whenever Bob is out front with something, it’s a pretty fair assumption that it’s a leak from one side and not indicative of a deal being close.
  21. Yup, being back at 97 and all of his pitches being sharp the past two starts bodes really well for a return to 2022 form. There's no reason to settle for less now.
  22. I read the "one and a half times" line today too. Don't remember who tweeted it, but with that extra year of control the ask doesn't seem that outrageous.
  23. Every rando around sports media seems to want to get in on the action.
